Who from this guys killed of tibia? Tibia have 90 k gamers online now 14k who kill this game? :D

Noone, this game just couldnt stand against the concurrence. Tibia is a game who can ONLY attract players from before, who love the pixel art-style, a game without sound and in times of "not so many" mmorpgs arround. Now there is alot more on the market and WoW looks more beautiful, has sound and more complex systems and bigger-worlds to offer. In other words, TIbia aged very badly as it couldnt simply be taken into the latest generation. You would need a new 3D client, new servers /graphics and a modern-competitive environment for the mainstream to join this game. Its noone's fault at Cipsoft's but you cannot maintain a game that was developed with technology of the 90's to stand a chance "today". It wont attract new players to join in as those will simply prefer WoW, Guildwars 2 or others (visa versa)... It can only win with nostagly at "us" old players and those wont be getting more, rather less. Most of the 90k players were bots by the way.

@@steinis6409 I think that they could create seasonal servers where people could start fresh and they could test new mechanics. The tournament servers were a good idea but they failed with that because the entry was too costly, the prize too small and the character whould be lost at the end. I think that Cipsoft is too conservaty and they don't understand their game anymore.
