This is exectly why Bastille is such a great band, there is not just the one version of a song you hear on the album, no, they create endless ways to perform the song and that is the best thing that has happened to music in a long time.

Gosh I'm so jealous of the woman who gets to marry Dan. I mean, come on, he is absolutley flawless. Talented, goofy, stands on his toes when he sings high notes, has a lovely smile, likes Game of thrones, loves music, can play the piano, born 1986 (I was born 87) so he knows those 90's songs, even did cover of of the night (totally loved that song when I was young) .... and that accent tho. Like I said, so so jealous of the woman who wins his beautiful heart and gets to marry him!

Never good just the bad and the ugly Laid in front of you Nothing quite like seeing the world Through the TV's window Feeling helpless I look for distraction I go searching for you Wandering through our city to find some Solace at your door I can't stop thinking about it I can't stop thinking about it Tell me did you see the news tonight? Hold me in this wild, wild, world 'Cause in your warmth I forget how cold it can be And in your heat I feel how cold it can get Hold me in this wild, wild, world 'Cause in your warmth I forget how cold it can be And in your heat I feel how cold it can get So hold me close... So come on let's forget the emotion Tie the blinkers on Hold both hands right over my eyes Deafen me with music 'Till we're lost in the heat of the moment And I'm moving in you Help me keep these hours alive Help me chase those seconds I just keep talking about it But I'll do nothing about it Tell me did you see the news last night? Hold me in this wild, wild, world 'Cause in your warmth I forget how cold it can be And in your heat I feel how cold it can get Hold me in this wild, wild, world 'Cause in your warmth I forget how cold it can be And in your heat I feel how cold it can get Now hold me close Hold me in this wild, wild, world Hold me in this wild, wild, world 'Cause in your warmth I forget how cold it can be And in your heat I feel how cold it can get Hold me in this wild, wild, world 'Cause in your warmth I forget how cold it can be And in your heat I feel how cold it can get So hold me close Hold me close

Listening to this in January 2021, it hits differently. The only problem is it desperately makes you want to hug your friends and family , which you can't. So, if you're viewing this when this is all over and you can go back to what we used to have, despite some possible changes, make sure you appreciate those you love. Because all it takes for you to realise how much you love those you hold close is to not be able to hold them. But until then, keep your distance, follow guidance and protect those you love ❤️ Date : 18th January 2021 Hopefully one day, this will just be a memory.
