What amazing find on that Steuben ram paperwhite. I looked on Etsy and the Steuben paper weights go for over $100 and if you find the eagle it’s way up in the $700 mark

Wow...congrats on the Steuben figurine!!!! I found a Steuben apple last year at my local Goodwill and had to keep myself from doing a happy dance in the aisle. (Paid $5, sold for $145.)

shiny brites ornaments/ Philly flipper always buys them. I believe you are thinking of Oleg Cassini Lladro pieces are either high value or low...not much middle ground. You can get the scuff off patent leather shoes with pledge furniture polish. My daughters tap shoes were patent and always got scuffed up and the pledge always worked.

I'd pay $6 on that brass bowl, but you thought that shiny glaze piece might be something. Not like you own a 5ft area on either side of you. You weren't looking at the top shelf so that lady had every right to be looking there. If she were grabbing items right in front of you on the same shelf, then that would be a different story. Go to an estate sale when it first opens and see how much space you have all to yourself. Unless I'm done shopping, I don't have time to stand around and talk to people.

Sonny, a week ago you passed up a Santos from New Mexico. They are very collectible works of Art/Folk Art/ religious relics. Most are made by the Cordova family from Cordova New Mexico, I believe. Many date back to 1700. They are hand carved wooden representations of saints and are placed on alters in family chapels and Village churches. If you see one, pick it up!
