Man, I can't imagine hitting those lines so fast, especially with all the bumps and moguls. That was crazy! I have a Party Wave and use it either in early season as a rock board, or in POW. It sometimes feels like a bus. I think I need to try your settings on the back binding. Bataleon makes some great boards. My favorite board last year was my Whatever. It's so easy to ride, and I'm just hitting intermediate level.

I love bataleon boards. Have the magic carpet, surfer, and party wave+. Honestly my fav is the magic carpet- high 3bt, switchable, stable as hell through chop. Surfer is the only pow board I’ve had and it’s awesome. Soft and nimble through the trees but great on edge as well. Party wave + is fun as hell but I always gravitate more to magic carpet. 3bt is legit, it has literally changed my riding for the better. Always feel less scared of catching an edge doing sketchy shit, riding powder, and frankly riding flats. Great boards.

GREAT REVIEW......I have the Surfer and the Goliath. Not sure why using the Surfer was more fun than the Goliath at Beaver Creek. Maybe it was the uniqueness of the board but it just felt better in all conditions. I thought the Goliath was an all mountain board but perhaps the Camel 2 would be better than the Goliath. I should mention I started snowboarding in 1990 when I was in the Army in Germany....so maybe the Camel maybe more forgiving than the Goliath for us older folks. (I'm assuming you have tried the Goliath - sorry for asking if you have not).
@iljajonker9303 Жыл бұрын
Keep the Goliath because the Camel two won’t bring you much more. I have had one and I didn’t think it was much of an improvemend comparing it to the Boss or the Goliath. They both do well for allmountain riding. And if you want a other board then the Goliath then I would sugest The Thunder or The Thunderstorm. The Thunderstorm is the a board as the Thunder. Bataleon has had the Storm ( woman ) and the Thunder ( men ) and made one model linefrom those. You would love the base on that board!
@snagatep2 жыл бұрын
You mounted your rear binding up all the way fwd and your lead binding in the center. This created more tail stabilization no? Would you recommend this on the icecoast as well as pow riding? (Only my 2nd season strapping in)

I like to do it just to have a little narrower stance and a bit more control on my tail for going switch. I'd try both and see what you like. Stance's are a lot of personal preference and everyone's body is different but I enjoy this setup
