Please hug her tightly when you 1st see her, while you’re with her & again when you leave…never miss the opportunity to tell her what she means to you❣️ I lost my Mom (best friend) unexpectedly & horrifically 9/19/23 & it has destroyed me, not a day goes by without breaking down crying as I miss her so much that my heart literally hurts. I take solace that the last few years we laughed often like you two are now, & that she knew how grateful I was for everything she’s done & beyond blessed that God chose her to be my Mom (she adopted me as an infant)❤️

When she smelled spearmint, I was thinking maybe she had a bit of toothpaste on her that she didn't know from brushing her teeth. But when she smelled pepper, I laughed too but then I was also thinking there may be pepper in the background and her nose is picking that up. There are many notes in any scent, not just the ones they list.

It made me think about when my husband & I were out with friends who were really knowledgeable about wine. We were trying to discern what we were tasting and my husband said grass, and we all laughed our heads off, until we read the bottle and it identified grass, like lemongrass or something, LOL!! His ego exploded, lol!!
