I’ve gone through phases when I didn’t like it all that much. Like many others, it smelled like an old lady perfume or something my grandmother would have worn. Now I’m loving it! Lol

I love Japanese Cherry Blossom! Like any scents, I go through phases of loving and getting bored of it. I love changing up my scents. I actually wore this the other day and I can smell it laying on the couch 3 days later (oops lotion must’ve rub off of me).

I remember wearing this in 2005. I know the fragrantica website says it came out 2011, but I remember it being out many years earlier. It was at a call center and the people around me were gagging from it lol. I thought it was mature but still a pretty scent. A lot of people do think it's smells like an "old lady" smell lol. I'm not a big florals person, but it's something different if you're in the mood for a warm floral scent:)

I have loved Japanese Cherry Blossom since its debut in 2011. My first Bath and Body Works favorite scent was Freesia from the mid 90's and later Warm Vanilla Sugar. One discontinued scent I loved was Blushing Cherry Blossom. Thanks for your posts Bonnie!🦋

I have included Japanese Cherry Blossom fine fragrance mist and the diamond shimmer mist in my order this morning. I want to revisit that scent because I had it about 2 years ago in the body creams, but gave them as Christmas gifts.

I love JCB in body care, but I don’t like it in the pocket bac not the soap. They smell too musky for my liking. But in the body care I get more of a sweet smell (not gourmand) maybe it’s the pear. But I like it!

You are so right! I despise all florals but it smells the strongest and stays the longest on me. Blah! I adore fruit scents and those all disappear as soon as I walk out of the bathroom. I have never had anyone notice any fruit scent on me. Sigh.

I brought some $1 jcb travel sized body creams from the outlet last year. I fell in love with the scent. Then, My sister had the ffm and I sprayed it yesterday and it smelled like potpourri and cloves. I gagged. I think it smells different in each body care item because it was two totally different scents. I’ll use up my travel size body creams and won’t repurchase jcb. I had the same experience with Into The Night. Hated the ffm, but the hand cream smells awesome. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m really enjoying JCB now. It’s one of my favorite spring time scents. Hard to believe it first came out 15 years ago. 😱 I remember it was early March 2006, and BBW released 3 new scents for spring: Japanese Cherry Blossom, White Cherry Blossom, and Pear Blossom. My favorite of those was Pear Blossom, and in fact it’s my number one favorite BBW fragrance of all time. But apparently not many people felt the same, as I believe it was discontinued before the summer was over that year. Made me very sad that it has never come back, either. The closest I could find to it was the Apple Blossom from a couple of years ago.

Hi Bonnie! Thank you so much for your video. I was wondering if BBW Japanese Cherry Blossom smells the same as Avon's Senses "Blushing Cherry Blossom" body mist? I've never smelled the Avon one before... I read that it has notes of Cherry Blossom, Apple, and Red berries... and was just wondering if you had smelled it? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it - if it's a similar spicy musky cherry blossom like BBW or totally different. Thank you so much!

It's just ok not something I seek out but sometimes I find cheap jcb items at the outlet and I'll buy them. I dont like dark kiss or sensual amber though ....amber,musk, and patchouli scents are not for me .
