I want one! I lost my mini (also black) poodle in March of 2022 😥 She would have been 16 this year. I would LOVE a standard and am in NW FL...such a sweet boy that Benny! ❤

I think when you took him out of the tub, he did a big "shake" to start drying himself off. He seemed OK for a first time bath with you. 😀

I've been watching your videos for years. I've always loved your own poodles and your grooming videos. I finally got myself a black male standard poodle about 4 months ago, he's 7 1/2 months old. I'm still working on his grooming, he's good but I can tell he's still uncomfortable with it. I can only get about half of it done at a time before he let's me know that's all he can handle. He's a little more patient each time. He'd never been groomed before I got him.

Congratulations on your new Poodle. Groom him often and he will get used to it. Brush and Comb daily, bath and blow dry weekly or biweekly and full groom monthly

What a sweet, beautiful boy! I just love Poodles and have raised 5 thru out my life. All mine were toys, except the one I have now is a miniature. He's 13 and going down hill. Enlarged heart, liver disease. But I take really good care of him and spend alot on special food and medications. He's always with me. Knows he's loved. When he let's me know that he's done I will do the right thing. Right now I'm thinking no more dogs, no more heart ache. But maybe after awhile I might get another. Maybe a standard this time. But how do you know you're getting a healthy dog? Do some breeders test for disease?Curious to know your opinion about that.

I have 3 Standard Poodles. Almost all dogs are bred with poodles these days
