Me too ... actually , just when I thought Bathory couldn´t do any " better " than that splendid gatefold LP which came before this , " Blood , fire , Death " ... this comes out . I actually have moments which have marked me forever listening to this album ... you know , 16 or 17 when this came out ... like driving my parents´ car in the middle of a little storm right to the pier and just standing there smoking some solid listening to this on the old cassete players most cars came with , facing the waves crashing near me ... the Atlantic ... where my ancestors once sailed all over he world ... the essence of who I am , epiphanies, fantasies ... identity ... yeah ... most likely what you speak of too ... my favourite album till I reached the age of having " many favorite " albums .

@@saraivatoledo1842 It's a break from songs like Dies Irae lol. Even as a child, I was more of a fan of slow moving, deep bass rhythm. I have a low voice like my grandfather did and he was around very often when I was still in my mother's womb. He helped to build-up the house and other things with my father and I must have picked up on that frequency and I must have also inherited that voice voice because then when my sister became pregnant, I was speaking around her and helping her fix things up in her new place and sure enough, my niece actually prefers music that is slow moving and lower frequencies...

@kersemus Åkerlund being involved in the production of this video is very unlikely, as to our knowledge there was only one cameraman/producer involved. (We can thank that guy for the lack of Bathory music videos by the way.) Quorthon did likely approach Jonas to make more prior to this one's completion (at least one was for a song from Twilight of the Gods, since Hammerheart and that album were made at very nearly the same time), but the frustrating process of making this one killed Quorthon's interest in making another ever again, unfortunately. (A similar story to the reason why he didn't play live.)
