This is awesome how you train your kids. I am the oldest of 5 girls. I am 69 and the youngest is 59. My mom would make us older kids help her and she told the younger ones to go play. My younger sisters....especially the youngest one, doesn't clean house or do anything. Her house is a mess...and I mean hoarder mess. Her husband didn't like her cooking when they first married so he said that he would do the cooking. She never tried to learn. He does the laundry and works an outside job. Now she has heart trouble and says that she is unable to do anything. And their yard is a mess. She never cleans. She never really grew up and they have 2 grown sons and grandchildren. Thanks for showing people how you train your children to help. You just don't know how many people you are helping. God bless you and your precious family 🎉❤.

My mom never trained me, but did tell me if I wanted something, I could do it myself. So I started young figuring out things on my own. I wish she trained me, but things turned out allright. If I have my own kids in the future, I hope I will be able to train them like you're doing! This is really helpful, for adults (with adhd) like me, still helpful, because sometimes you just don't know how to start, seeing the steps makes things easier!

This was great ! Thanks. I just showed my daughter this and she is currently doing the bathrooms. Cleaning the bathroom has been something we went over but not in so much detail. I wasn’t brought up doing deep cleaning, my parents are very clean and would just do it themselves. I do appreciate clean, I am just a bit ignorant on what it takes. I look forward to the next video 🙂

I think weekly 2:02 she says that's not something we would do every week

I should have went in to detail on how often to do each thing. As a general rule for my family, the daily cleanup is if you can see that it needs it, do it! (If a big hand print gets on the wall wash it don’t wait for the weekend, if the toilet seat gets dirty wash it, don’t wait) But weekly you do it all weather you can see the dirt or not (cause kids have a hard time seeing its dirty sometimes even when it is) but there are things like dusting the cobwebs in the ceiling corners and changing out light bulbs that are agin as needed not even weekly

It's teaching the kids the proper level of cleaning. When they get their own homes, they can clean at whatever level they want. Imagine if she didn't have them clean this well, how'd that restroom would look with the amount of people using it.
@Ajsupermonkey7 ай бұрын
Not me. This is a practical, visual way to teach how to clean a bathroom thoroughly. Nothing wrong with that at all.
@daniellethomas83987 ай бұрын
She has 17 kids. That's a lot of people using it every day. Also, this is a video to help guide her kids. I think she did a great job about being thorough. This also probably gets rotated. The job is not stuck with one person all the time. Also, she is doing the clean as you go method. If you see an issue, take care of it. Don't wait for the weekend. It promotes looking out for each other. Example- this mirror is dirty... less than one minute to wipe it off before you leave the restroom. This makes the task much easier for the weekend "ocd" clean. It maybe takes 20 minutes or less.

I live by my Mom's motto: Do it right, or don't do it at all! I always clean like this, I mean, I'm in there with all the supplies, why leave something untouched 🤷♀️ Unless you have a psyche degree and someone is YOUR patient, you can't diagnose people! Would you like me to diagnose YOU for your comment? No?
