Hi Mark great real world plumbing video as always. Although Im just a DIYer. Ive just done my daughters bathroom. I used your tip for fixing the L bracket. The flexi bucket for the radiaotor and the drill bits for drilling through the tiles. Great tips. You really do help us amateurs. Thanks very much. Take care buddy.

Release button is usually the black rubber button on the side, don't touch the jaws while pressing, reload battery before starting pressing to ensure you don't run out of battery, and good to check battery charge every now and then and having 2-3 backup batteries and one always reloading on the reloader. Those are my tips =)

As recommended by jeromeroddy4931 the top panel needs push on Keku and bottom panel needs lift off as you’ve got ,that means no need to disturb work top for maintenance. Was involved in a bespoke kitchen install. The units were sprayed that blue, even the electric sockets in the ends of the island were sprayed that blue. Pretty sure it was a Farrow colour. Can't remember what it it was called, but if it was Farrow the name would be nothing to do with the colour 😂. Looked great though.

Ive just fitted a couple of these units. I was really impressed with the quality of them however, they went for the optional marble top which sits on top of the toilet unit and overhangs by about 50mm creating a lip for the sink to sit on, with a small off-cut for the other side of the sink. Once the sink is mounted you're left with a situation whereby the sink will need to be removed if you want to gain access to the rear of the toilet or the cistern. If the front panels pulled forward instead of upward this wouldn't be an issue.
@MJTiffPlumbing

Great vid, great job, Your mistake with the press gun was using the words "just for ease..." before you pressed the button - that's just asking for trouble! Those concealed fixings look like Keku fasteners: they do the lift up and the pull out sort. On a good day the upper panel pulls out and the lower panel lifts up so you don't have to disturb the worktop.

Looks like a great job, only thing I would do if it where my bathroom, I bugger about to gain every inch of floor space on my jobs, is reduce the depth of the toilet boxing so it's quite tight against the cistern.... Looks to me as though the toilet would go back about 100mm +.... But I guess on jobs for other people that isn't going to happen as they won't pay the extra labour I find.

I think you've done a sound job there Mark. However, the gap between the left side of the basin and the wall is a dust/water trap. Also, I reckon that the shower screen would look much better with a horizontal rail straight across the top and fixed at both ends, rather than the cross brace. Just design faults, not in any way a dig at you mate. Btw, don't you favour lever, instead of slot head isolation valves? Are modern day slot head valves much better than the old ones that I constantly have problems with? 💧💧😱

Nice job as always. I wonder what your thoughts are on level valves on the point that the hot/cold enters the room as isolators rather than iso's for each outlet? Re your press fit dilemma - I bet you deleted the sound when you couldn't undo the jaws but glad they had made a fail safe release!! The pipes were hidden so I'd have used Speedfit to connect the basin. I thought the towel rail was too high but obviously a customer decision. I fitted one at a height specified by the man of the house but his wife saw it and said it was too high. Had to retile most of the wall!! If the tiler is not my usual tiler I won't do the job as tiling and plumbing have to be very coordinated - as you found when the fittings were so close to the surface you had to cut them which only left a few threads to secure the fittings to the pipe and support the heavy rain head. I hope you had stage payments if the job took 3 months!!
@MJTiffPlumbing

Not a problem at all on this job, to be fair it went very well and looked amazing at the end. Towel Rail height is a very personal thing and this was just how they wanted it….
