The layout is much better. At first I thought it was too much grey but then I thought it was that there were 3 different patterns of the grey..tub, floor and wall. But I looked at it again and seeing how it could be decorated I think it looks great! You can break up the color and patterns with the shower curtain and rugs and wall decor! And towels also. Just the right contrasting colors will brighten it very well. And you can use seasonal colors with grey if you decorate seasonally. I loved the ceiling in the shower! I really agree with the flooring...tile can be a lot of maintenance in a bathroom.... especially around the toilet! So it turned out great... you created a little oasis! And never forget the decorating possibilities!

Thank you very much! Yes, you are right. I am not the decorator of the family, so I forget about that sometimes. I still would not do the shiplap if I could have a redo, but that's because it took a lot of time to install 😂

Generally I just search for the topic/project I am working on. If you watch a handful of videos you can usually figure out who knows what they're talking about. Also read the comments... if the video shows something done incorrectly, there will be plenty of comments letting them know! Trust me I would know 😂

You did a great job with this remodel. I like the new layout, the tile surrounding the tub, and the flooring. I will have to agree with you on the shiplap. I would have not put it up. There's to much grey. Not enough contrast. White walls with a grey vanity is what I would have gone with.

Our HVAC guy installed one in the ceiling right by the door! Can't really see it in any of the videos or pictures.

You did so well up until the floor...vinal? not a tile floor. Really downgrades the whole bathroom. Would have been easy to put down tile since you already installed new sub floor on 1/2 the bathroom. Plus it is not a big area.

Thanks, to each their own but I'm not a big fan or tile floors. A lot more work to install, not waterproof (without doing a waterproof underlayment), and in a house like this it won't help it sell for more than the LVP will. Just my thought process!

Your colors are way too dark. Makes the spaces look smaller. Use lighter colored tiles and paint.
