Shelly, I did the same thing and got rid of so many expired products. It was nice to get rid of a lot and sort of lighten the load of things. I wasn't using all of that, so why keep it. Your setup looks great! I am also someone who has to be able to see the products in front of me or I'll forget about them and never use them. Love how you covered the one sink to increase storage space.👍 Great idea!

I've found ways to use the space under the sink, which is usually wasted. I get wire shelves from Dollar Tree and some bins that fit nicely on top of them. They can fit taller things. Then I get thick clear acrylic boxes- also from Dollar Tree and very good quality- and put them under the wire rack as well as some fridge containers and they function as little drawers. I put makeup in them. Everything is also protected if there are water issues under the sink. I have a bunch of acrylic boxes of various sizes that I use to organize my makeup and brushes on top of the vanity as well as an egg-shaped container on top of my toilet. And a little shelf where I put other things. It's a small bathroom, but I am a pro at using every inch of space, lol.

Power outages/surges are definitely not good for appliances, electronics, etc. If you have a pricy blender like Vitamix, keep it unplugged when not in use as well as other small appliances that will fry if a surge goes through. We've had a lot of thunderstorms this spring and summer so I'm always on alert for outages. 😟 I recently purged a lot of my old eyeshadow palettes and hair care products that were old/expired. Felt good to get rid of them. 😊

One of the best things I did was to purchase a decorative basket and put my nighttime skincare in it. I keep it by my couch or under the coffee table. It’s so relaxing to apply while watching my favorite show…GOOW!

The Container Store’s Elfa units that install on the front or back of a door are excellent. You can buy hooks, baskets, etc. All different sizes, it’s completely customizable.

Loved the video! I usually have my bathroom door open while I'm getting ready. So I hung a clear shoe organizer from the door and put all of my hair product items in it. I also put refill bottles in it for storage. Hope this helps. I have a tiny bathroom.

I love to organize with Lazy Susan turntables. They work great for inside cabinets, under the sink, tops of dressers and vanities. There are some beautiful acrylic 3-tier ones for display as well. I find everything is so much more accessible and doesn’t get lost in the back. Hope this helps!

If you're replacing your bifida, I know a couple extra-hydrating ones you might like to try--Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica (I know you love your cica!); Abib Jericho Rose Bifida Firming Drop (hat tip to Alice in the Rabbit Hole for that last one!).I use that green Briogeo leave in conditioning spray you have there, it's great and smells wonderful! I like your setup; thanks for sharing. The fallout from Beryl took out our power and fried my backup wifi router 2 days ago, so I feel you on the power nonsense!

I appreciated the inside look behind the bathroom scene 😂. I'd recommend product shelves if you have wall space. They are about 15in long and 4in wide, come in iridescent acrylic, and can stack them vertically on the wall. Saving space. Perfect for displaying, and reaching products. They use similar ones in salons, etc. Will keep you organized, and glam looking. Temu sells them if your curious as to wth I'm rambling about. Just search iridescent shelf. Let us know what you end up doing. ❤🌞

Hi Shelly, if you need something to help with Tretinoin peeling, I swear by the Prequel Urea Advanced Relief moisturizer. It’s my new holy grail. I no longer need to layer my Tret, I just put the Prequel on after using Tret. It’s also reasonably priced.

I have everything labeled in tubs: toners, sunscreens, serums, backups. Those go under the sink and in the linen closet. With the move, everything is in disarray and driving me nuts! 🫣
