Now that Sony owns the rights they will more than likely give it that respect it deserves on physical media. Boyle and Garland reteaming for the new movie is also a plus for a new remaster of 28 Days to promote 28 Years

The trailer for 28 Years Later actually didn't look bad. When the first part, 28 Days Later, came out, it was a little insider tip because the way the film was made was very realistic and at the same time scary. Always only buy the titles that seem important to you, no matter what format, it doesn't have to be exclusively in 4K, others may see it differently. Godspeed 🤘

The studio would be insane not to re-release both of these on blu-ray before releasing 28 Years Later! I have them both, but if I didn't I definitely wouldn't buy the 3rd movie unless I could get all three.

I was thinking about what would go into a video called "are DVDs and blu-rays right for me?" That would cover all basic concerns and needs for someone considering trying them out. Like set-up, equipment, space for the player and their discs, best places to easily find discs to buy/rent, and the basic pros and cons of choosing to watch discs over other means. This would start with what the person watches, what they like watching and if there's stuff they would prefer to be watching over their current habits. If you only want to watch the current streaming shows, pro sports and nightly news, discs are probably not for you. A lot of people really are just trying to keep up with the current and that's their main motivation behind watching what they do. Of course there are the popular classics which are embedded in the culture, so there may be some benefit to discs for people with these interests, but many of those movies and shows are streaming too. I'm just thinking out loud here, but helping people find and enjoy something they may not otherwise consider might be rewarding.

@FanZceneVids Well, I think about making videos, but I'm pre-occupied, so I just throw the ideas out there. Anybody's welcome to take and run with them in any way they'd like. Who knows, maybe I will somehow get around to doing it myself. I just like talking about this stuff.

Hello FanZcene, I'm pleased to announce that I have went to my Super-Walmart & they have a great selection of physical media & I actually bought the first season of "The Last of Us" on Blu-Ray. I plan to go there again & buy more as soon as I will be able too.

28 Weeks Later is available on streaming on VOD. I have it on Vudu. 28 Days Later is not available on digital. But like you, I have both the blurays.

They are actually good films and worth watching on blu ray as very atmospheric and you have an empty London which I doubt will ever be a thing again

My physical media Black Friday/Cyber Monday haul stands at 56 titles at the moment this year, not counting at least three shipments I’m still waiting to arrive. “I’m doing MY part! Would you like to know more?” I’d pick up both 28 titles physically as long as they don’t end up being steelbook exclusives. I hate those.

If it is Sony who distributes the movie then we will most likely get the 4K/Blu-Ray Limited Steelbook along with the release of the new film. Sony is good about stuff like that. There will be a lot of eBay scalpers hurt over that and I can't wait to see it.

I just recently bought some netflix titles on blu-ray Greg I just watched a video about this guy seeing that LG is stopping the manufacturing of 4k players and that physical media is dying my god God Greg these people have no idea what they are talking about and it just makes me mad because I feel these people are not looking outside the box. Physical media is available all over the world not just America or Canada. Saying that malls are dying yeah maybe if you live in America but that's not the case in other parts of the world especially where I live in south east Asia they may not have some of my favorite stores that I like to go to but they still exist where I live and they are very popular among many people who like to shop and we still have great boutique labels to choose from that send them worldwide

Hey Greg why do you think that Family Guy Seasons 18-22 and beyond haven't been released on physical media especially the re-releases of Seasons 1-17 by Disney

I believe you answered the question, Disney. They would rather have them all streaming on Hulu or Disney+ than release physical copies. That way people who want to see them have to subscribe.
