If you want to go down the rabbit hole the series is about orphans. Obviously Riddler, Batman, Victor are orphans, Sophia is an orphan and further annihilated the rest, Penguin would be an orphan but he refuses to give his mother peace. For comic fans The Mother of orphans is a character who scouts talons for the Court Of Owls like Dick Grayson

@@octosalias5785 damn, facts. There's something about that Orphanage from the Batman, Bruce might turn it into a high class school or home for orphans when he is developing his public persona. I think this series will introduce all the Robins and Barbara Gordon at once. That would be sad that if Bruce and Mayor Real try to control the Wayne renewal fund to actually renew Gotham, this causes the Owls to make Oz put a hit out on Batman/Bruce and the Mayor as a ritual to join their family. Because I don't think the Owls will be a zombie cult in this universe lol

I don't know if everyone shares the same feeling but we need either a Selina Kyle TV series in Bludhaven that leads into her potentially breaking Sofia out of Arkham or an ARKHAM Asylum show with joker as the main villain, you could have Selina Kyle initiate the breakout for Sofia but in doing that she frees the whole of Arkham Asylum so that means Joker, Riddler and whatever other nut jobs they have lined up for the bat-verse can be free for the 3rd movie so I guess you can do one or the other or both. For The Batman Part II it's looking like a Hush main villain story, the wayne legacy is a big thing that they focused on in Part 1 so I think they'll continue that with Hush and potentially Court of Owls at some point.

I have a feeling The Batman Part ll would open up with Batman, Gordon & the GCPD investigating Vic’s murder hence why the Bat signal was lit up similar to how it was lit up by Gordon when they were investigating the Mayor’s murder.

@ I didn’t even think about the rights but you have a great point. I was more so thinking that they probably don’t want to alienate the audience of Batman 2 (which inherently will be much larger than penguins viewership) by directly referencing the show. Making them feel like they’re missing something. And even beside that the whole point of Victor’s death is that it’s supposed to be a body amongst bodies, a sea of bodies never to be avenged or justified.

Because in my honest opinion, the real Batman 2 will just be Arkham Origins (criminals and assassin's trying to claim the bounty on killing Batman during Christmas time). Whether Oz or the Owls put out the bounty, with Bruce developing his public persona to help Mayor Real and claim the Wayne fund. But Vic's death being a trigger point would be dope.

Because honestly I want Reeves and co. to subvert the "too many villains in one movie" trope and basically have his rogues gallery come for him all at once. "Kill the Batman" or "Hunt the Batman" movie kinda thing.
