It’s my dream to own this book one day. A new coffee table book about the Animated Series should be released again.

It's an amazing book. It definitely needs another printing!

The Creeper was voiced by Jeff Bennett not Rob Paulsen. Plus Creeper actually apears in the background in the Justice Leauge cartoon in a few episodes.

There are many characters in the comics who have taken the identity of Clayface, there is of course Basil Karlo, and Matt Hagen is from the comics, but he's very different then how he is in the animated series, there's also Preston Pain a Clayface who has to stay in a containment suit and melts people by touching them,

I haven't read the ones with Preston Pain!

I'd like to say something about the early concept art for Robin here 6:16, the mask and hair remind me of Robins design on the Teen Titans cartoon. (No that dose not mean Teen Titans is set in the DCAU.)

I can totally see that!

Batman Animated is fire! I was thinking about Robin: they need to reinvent that character. Far too many times, he’s portrayed as a goofy sidekick. In actuality, his family are carnies…trapeze artists…daredevils. I’m thinking along the lines of oceans eleven Asian dude mixed with Joseph Gordon-Levitt from that wtc sky walking stunt
@ComicBookASMR2 жыл бұрын
Animated is the best! Robin has definitely been used to lighten the mood. I can appreciate the different Robin iterations have personality. Damien Robin is pretty hard-core, he's just too short.
@zackbennett56092 жыл бұрын
@@ComicBookASMR Damian reminds me of the CN kids toon…can’t remember the name. His colors remind me of a court jester. Maybe he’s the illegitimate son of joker

@Zack Bennett Lol. He could be. I initially didn't care for him, but Tomasi and Gleason's Batman and Robin run really made me appreciate him.

Batman the animated series is set in the 90's, nobody ever said it took place in an earlier time period.
@ComicBookASMR2 жыл бұрын
They never specify. There are old elements. Lots of the cars are very old models, the blimps, clothing, black and white TVs, the old school football college uniforms with the leather helmets. All of that in contrast with advanced tech.
@jakeproven2562 жыл бұрын
@@ComicBookASMR Superman the animated series didn’t have any old technology, and the justice league animated series was clearly set in the 2000’s. As for clothing, well people do like to go vintage. I don’t see how blimps can’t be a thing in the 90’s. As for old tvs well, we should consider this, Gotham Is known for being a crummy city, so it’s possible that was all they could get for the city. Also in the later episodes of Batman the animated series they do have color tv’s. Plus, if Batman the animated series was set in the 50s there would be no Batman beyond because Bruce would be dead by 2039 when that show takes place in.

It was modeled after the 1940s Superman fleisher cartoons
@jakeproven25610 ай бұрын
@@boombapdoom493 yes, nobody’s arguing that, all I’m saying is the show is set in the 90’s despite the old tech, just look at beware the gray ghost, the magazine at the end of that episode is dated “October 1992.”
