It would be cool if we could get a Batman TAS figure with normal proportions. It seems they only base the toys on the later seasons when the animation changed. He didn't always have tiny legs and a gigantic upper body.

Even in that season, the proportion is weren't like that, the legs were regular size and the shoulders were broad but they weren't like how this figure looked

The body is based on the new Batman adventures version of Batman but designed to look like the Batman the animated series version that's why the body's proportions look like that

I know the DC animated universe are designed that way but somehow they really look awkward with the large torso and small lower extremities when they are in figure form.

Only I think the single release looks better than this? single release seems more color accurate without the blue shades, figure also seems thicker, the cape swinging on the side also seems a pain and getting in the way especially if you want to put the figure with some others, what do you guys think?

I wish I could buy the base separately (at a good price, of course), because even with the cel shading - which admittedly looks better here than on Hasbro's animated figures - this figure is UG-LY compared to the DC Collectibles BTAS line.

This figure cost $40 lol that’s how much I paid for my Marvel Legends Toad 🤦🏾‍♂️. I still don’t understand how at my Walmart there are Mcfarlane DC Multiverse figures for literally $19 still but the Marvel Legends there are starting out at $25.

It seems like nothing really captures the animated series (first few seasons) correctly, other than the old Kenner toys. The McFarlane on is way off but has articulation. The DC Direct one is good but looks a little off. The Mondo one is too wide. Only Kenner has done it just right.

What's really ridiculous is that the harley figure you showed isn't even an animated series figure figure. It's supposed to be based off of her original solo series... McFarlane really shit the bed with that release.

Nah, great set up but lazy on McFarlane. He could’ve used this body for the New Batman Adventures. He’ll basically make multiple versions using the same body without having to make a new sculpt, even if they’re not accurate.

It's a pass for me even loving Batman: The Animated Series. The proportions are a big put off on McFarlane's version. The DC Collectibles I own are much better done.
