Just a couple notes since the release of the video: - After reading some of the comments stating that they don't beleive the Cassie voicemail is Cassandra Cain, i'm leaning that way too. It's more likely that it's just a random girl Bruce partied with. I tried to cut it from the video using KZbin's editor, but each time I do it seems to bug out the video for certain viewers, so I'll have to leave it in for the time being. - Commentors have also mentioned a datamined file that names the model of the diner attacker as "jason todd". I didn't include it in the video since i couldn't find the source of the datamine, but I do think it adds credibility to theory that the attacker could've been the Arkham Knight. Lastly, I believe the audio glitch around the 1 hour 10 minute mark has been fixed, so there shouldn't be any issues there. If you're still encountering it, let me know and I'll see if there's anything I can do.

I always took that voice mail as a hint to hush. From her line “you’re nothing like I read in the papers” I always took that as hush partying around as Bruce to try damage his reputation a little. + enjoy the fame and vip status of being Bruce Wayne. I can’t imagine Bruce spending much time partying after arkham city. We know he goes back into arkham city thanks to the Harleys revenge dlc + he’ll likely have been too busy designing his new suit and Batmobile + researching and tracking down joker’s blood victims. So in short I always took that as an early mention to Dr Elliot Especially as later his story line concludes in that very office where the voice mail can be heard. I’m probably wrong though haha.

I think the biggest tragedy in terms of Arkham 3 is that they lost Paul Dini. It definitely feels like elements in City were being hatched for 3 with things like Hush, Azrael, and potentially even Harley’s pregnancy. I’d love to know what Dini had in mind for his third game compared to what we got. Also, beautiful tribute to Kevin. The gratitude he felt I’m sure was nothing compared to the immense gratitude billions of Batman fans around the world felt and still feel for him.
@gazem_32112 жыл бұрын
I'd love to see what he would have done with those elements too, but awhile ago, I read a tweet from his twitter acount responding to a fan about the plot of the third game, however, he said he didn't have much planned.

I’d be curious to know where Dini would have taken the game too. It is a bit disappointing he didn’t get to help close out the series. Thank you! @gazem_32112 жыл бұрын
Although I am really curious as to see what storylines would occur with Azrael and Quinn's pregnancy. Like would Azrael actually take the mantle of Batman and the end of Dini's version, would he be friend or foe? Also, if Joker's baby were to be included, they couldn't even be a threat until a HUGE time jump, even then, would it just be a Batman Beyond story? I seriously wonder what stories could have been told.

The biggest issue people had with the Jason twist, wasn't the twist itself. It was that Rocksteady swore up and down that it wasn't Jason only for it to actually be Jason. Had Rocksteady just admitted the obvious twist, I don't think as many would have had a problem with it.
@blacktytrix Жыл бұрын
They backed themselves into a corner with it. They wanted to make it so people who weren't familiar with Jason could understand it but in turn, made it so obvious that it was impossible to ignore. So once people started calling it asap, they couldn't just give it up so they had to act like it wasn't the case.

I'm still personally on the fence when it comes to the Joker blood thing. I think just having Joker be a representation of Batman's fears works just fine on it's own. I do really love Arkham Knight though. The gameplay is absolutely solid, Batmobile is fun as hell, story has epic moments for every character, and it still looks good to this day (especially when compared to games nowadays). I still do and will continue to play it for years to come.

I'm still watching this and i have to give credit the voiceover and transitions Show how much effort you put into this project. As for Kevin conroy may he be rememberd as the definitive Batman for many peoples child and Adulthood.

1:14:55 the dialogue here is masterful, Conroy’s rendition is terrifying. This is especially true when Batman asks the militia member, “Remember anything else?” And the tone, context, etc. adds to the great voice acting. Very well done, one of my favourite moments of the game.

Halfway through the video and I'm simply amazed by the amount of detail I missed (and I played through the game 5 times). I loved the begging of the video, paying respect to Kevin Conroy who shaped many of our childhoods. Super excited to finish the video and the second part. This is by far one of my favourite videos by you.

You can also see the Royal Hotel from Arkham Origins and that part of Gotham if you look beyond the bridge from Arkham City.

I like the fact that when scarecrow first injects the toxin it is visually in bruce's body, therefore we see bruce's fears. The second time, we see him inject the joker's body so the joker's worst fear are shown and it indirectly helps bruce take back control. I think Scarecrow lost because of that second dose or at least the Joker did.

I remember a video theory from Arkham Archive which stated that Batman is still alive, however, he added that Bruce Wayne did die the moment scarecrow injected him with the fear toxin, destroying Bruce Wayne...leaving only Batman, who is in a way way more ruthless since he would no longer Bruce holding him back, something that Grant Morrison did tackle once, showing that a Batman without Bruce is way more brutal and mission focus, which is saying something !

On that Joke/Batman/Scarecrow scene in the airship nosecone, there's a very subtle touch I hadn't noticed until watching your recap: as Batman stands up again to confront Crane, he looks very briefly at the Joker-hallucination -- something he hasn't done in cutscenes before.

I like how Kevin Conroy had a Superman statue next to him as well as Batman in that beginning video. Makes me think about how Superman and Batman are good friends. Batman honestly deserves to have a friend as good as Superman after all the crap he goes through.
