Batman Arkham Origins - Intro

A young Batman returns to the batcave after a successful capture on Christmas Eve. Gotham is in the midst of an epic winter storm. Rather than settle in for the night he heads to Blackgate Prison where a breakout is in progress. The main suspect has been identified as the Black Mask. Batman attempts to silently enter the prison and finds Black Mask's men destroying the place, along with large, reptile-skinned companion.

I don’t like this game but this whole intro is really cool and a lot of the things in this game just feel heavy sounding, the footsteps in the cutscenes, Batman’s voice and even his punches. Oh yeah and this game actually did one other thing really good and that’s killer crocs design.

Croc's atavism condition was at an early stage in Origins which progressed further in Asylum and City, then after being tortured at Iron Heights in Knight, he mutated further as an adaptive response to trauma, especially after his hand was sliced off to see if it could grow back@@TheMeme882

I know that it maybe an impossible 50/50 chance, but after Arkham Asylum/City I do hope we get a Switch port of Arkham Origins someday. Roger Craig Smith does a nice performance of younger Batman here. Let's hope that both Roger Craig and Troy Baker will become the official replacements for Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill, since Mark won't be voicing Joker for an unfortunate but understandable obviously reason.
