I think it should. I have the new Spin Masters Batman Returns figure which is nearly identical in scale to the old Mattel figures from this line. If I ever get the DK Trilogy figure, I'll definitely see if it fits in this Tumbler.

will it work with marvel universe figures and 3.75 gi joes ? I'm thinking of buying this next month.

I tried a vintage 1980s 3.75 GI JOE figure and it fit just fine. Marvel Universe figures a tiny bit taller but more slender. If the figure is articulated enough, and bends well at the hips, legs, and knees, it should fit alright as well, but the head clearance could be a problem if it's a taller figure.
