That's true 2099 doesn't have a spider sense but even faster reflexes than Spiderman himself, I'm not sure if he's stronger though and there are those claws of his on his finger tips that can cut through virtually anything. There was supposed to be something about his webbing as well but I can't remember what it was.

I've heard that too. It makes sense even when you consider the character design in Spider-Man Unlimited. They took Miguel O"Hara's web cape and made it shit when Peter's costume would have looked completely fine as it was. Besides that, the color scheme is more similar to the original 2099 version of Spider-Man than Parker's with black and red being the primary coloring with blue highlights. Even the dystopian setting is similar to O'Hara's story. As much as the original Spider-Man is and always will be my favorite comic book character, I would have much rather them have made Spider-Man 2099. That would have been so much better than that Unlimited abomination.

The problem is, the characters are both set in futuristic metropolises... Where are they going to shoot this? Nevermind how both of these characters are highly airborne, Spiderman with web swinging and Batman Beyond with his jetboots, grappling hook, and glider wings. Man-Bat vs. the Lizard would also be interesting. They share more in common, character-wise. Dr. Kirk Langstrom was trying to cure deafness with bat DNA and Dr. Curt Connors was trying to regrow limbs with reptile DNA. Both are very tragic, reluctant villains with strained relationships with their wife and sons, but in human form, they're pretty much friends with the Batman and Spider-Man families who've helped them save the day from time to time.

No actually, as much as I love Batman Beyond, and I do, I'm a huge Batman Beyond fan, I was actually rooting for Spider-Man. In all due seriousness if there is no prep time, and if they just met, any incarnation of Spider-Man would massacre any incarnation of Batman. First of all most of Batman's arsenal is very similar to Green Goblin's arsenal and Spider-Man is very intelligent and can be a strategist when he wants to (sometime in the 90's there was a Spider-Man issue where he was talking to Mary Jane and stated that he formulated plans to take down the Avengers if needed, just as Batman as plans to take down the Justice League if needed. So in that aspect both Batman and Spider-Man are good with prepping and strategies). And also Batman is overrated. The "Because he's Batman" argument is cancer. The reason Batman is so almighty and is everywhere in comics and animated series and seems to outsmart everyone is mainly because Batman sells and makes money so DC has to make him be the best there is. As much as I hate to say it, ScrewAttack's Death Battle between Batman and Spider-Man was very accurate.

Accurate would have been that Bats wouldn't land a single hit (if he would he would break his hand) and get his head blown up by one punch from Spider-Man.

Miguel is faster than Peter was. And while he lacks a Spider Sense, all his other senses are way more enhanced than Peter's. Admit it, the only reason Terry won in this fight was dumb luck because he just happened to have a light bulb behind him and managed to dodged Miguel's punch with led Miguel into getting fried from the light bulb. Miguel dominated almost the entire fight and just lost because of Terry's luck.

Batman "the Best Strategist and H2H Combatant in Comic Book Lore"? Really? Black Panther and Tony Stark are at least on par with him, and the likes of Lex Luthor and Reed Richards beat Bruce hands down in terms of strategy. Also, just for heads up, in terms of H2H, Lady Shiva owned Batman in one counterattack, so did the Orphan, also Batman is yet to beat Deathstroke clean one on one, not to mention the likes of Iron Fist, Daredevil, Shang Chi, Karate Kid and many others.

Karsac N I seen a video months ago that this guy did that he had done research into both Batman Beyond and Spiderman 2099 and he didn't really like ether character (but was more of a fan of the original Spiderman if I remember right) he did a video based on his research for the characters (can't seem to find it right now, darn) anyways he concluded that if these two fought then the winner would be Batman Beyond. 😛 Maybe someone like death battle will make another one of these videos someday that will once and for all prove who would win in a fight with proper research, evidence and logical reasoning proving why which hero is the victor. I may honestly like Batman Beyond more and I did vote for him to win because of liking him more, but if based on skills, powers and weapons/gadgets and all other defining factors with fact, evidence and logic at work, if it proves Spiderman 2099 would win then I'd accept that fact. Just like I've accepted any other time my favorite characters lost in a fight as long as it showed why they lost and had good reasoning used good logic and not bad stupid logic. 😁 (I've seen a few videos that had characters acting completely out of character being stupid and making mistakes causing them to lose or in team battles being stupid jerks to each other and not working as a team making them lose when normally they'd work as a perfect team and would more likely win if not made to act out of character. I understand the advantages that you get from coming out with fully animated episodes... you can come up with matches that you could not otherwise ever have. But the amazing thing about the older episodes before the recent move to more animation, was how amazing it was to see the heroes as living breathing people.... there was tons of CGI, this is superheroics we are talking about but take away the living people and Super Power Beat Down loses a lot in my opinion. I hope this trend toward pure animation does not continue. I did NOT like this episode... the CGI animation was clunky and unrealistic. I was unable to suspend my disbelief and it lost a lot of the magic for me..
