Still don’t know what’s funnier the fact that Caped Crusader and X-Men 97 premiered on the same year (just like Batman: TAS and X-Men: TAS) or the fact that this cartoon arrived two weeks after the S2 Finale of My Adventures With Superman.

I like that they didn't just flip Penguin's gender, they also flipped her personality. The traditional Penguin has a lot of resentment about how his family is looked down upon by other rich families and really wants to be a legitimate member of high society but he's really awkward around them. This Penguin is very comfortable in high society and mingles well with them, but she still keeps those illicit dealings like the traditional Penguin. Also, a lot of previous versions of the Penguin also had overbearing mothers. This version is a neglectful awful mother.

Basil Karlo originally and this I think is based off lon Chaney senior who was called the man of 1000 faces in horror he played the phantom of the Opera and the doctor was based off Jack Pierce a makeup artist of universal horror

As someone who binged the entire season the second it released, my general opinion of it is that it's stylish but shallow. It has excellent one-off moments, usually its fight scenes, but as a whole it completely lacks depth.

This is a really impressive first season. There’s a lot working against this show for me personally (I can’t stand JJ Abrams, I hate the long ears, and the biggest thing: the older and further left I personally get, the less I appreciate a billionaire dressing up in costume and beating up the poor and the mentally unwell) and even considering all that this show had to overcome, it still absolutely SINGS. One of the sharpest written Batman adaptations I’ve ever seen. Just wonderful, wonderful stuff.

Absolute rubbish why do they have to change or eraze original characters leave them the heck alone add new bad guys or good guys if you want but leave the og's well enough alone they great already without someone changing them when it's not needed. @@ChainsawReacts yeah I checked it Batman caped crusader is rated tv-14 and I love the fact that it is way more darker and more adult Bruce Timm has said the interviews that this is what he wanted to do with Batman the animated series but it was due to censorship that there was allowed to go darker
