Oh God....Selina's logic reminds me of that Patrick meme: "Let's pick up [Crime] and push it over there" and will backfire as bad. Technically, it sounds like crime is going down in one area but up elsewhere instead and this one is okay because the victims are rich. Selina's always been one of my favorites and I also like BatCat but damn this is painful. Both her character and the ship need a break.

Okay, I'm not the best person to talk about this but I couldn't help but notice several I said could be done in the history of Batman and the Bat family so here's a list of some of them: 1- Batman's obsession with control: This is something that everyone should have noticed and that needs to change It is that Batman cannot control everything in Gotham almost every story is showing him trying to gain control of the city not as a villain but as someone who wants to stop all kinds of of clients that happen to him but what Batman doesn't understand is that to stop crime he would have to change part of human nature. 2- The ambiguity of the Catwoman: another thing that was difficult not to note is that many people tell stories that the catwoman appears, she acts either as a villain or as an anti-heroine and that has to change because either she is a villain or she is not and the current story the Gotham War has barely begun and it already makes it pretty clear that she's trying to prove that she's independent of Batman strikes out on her own and that she can still be a villain and still do good this is something that definitely needs to be clearly defined. 3- the excessive use of the Joker in the stories: another thing that could not be overlooked was the excessive use of the Joker in most Batman stories and in other DC Comics stories, as all of us who are fans of the stories understand that yes the Joker is a great villain and he's very, very smart but I think I'm using him too much and that mostly prevents other villains from being shown Like not every grand plan to defeat Batman needs to come from the Joker. 4- the Red Hood: one thing that was hard not to notice is that every time the DC Writers use the Red Hood character (Jason Todd) it's always the same thing he starts to get closer to the Bat-Family but then something happens and he goes back to acting like a villain, honestly this is getting very annoying people please either he goes back to Bat-Family for good or don't decide soon and another thing his stories recently are with a huge lack of creativity like that story of Task Force Z very confusing and pointless. 5- Batwoman and other members of the Batfamily: Batwoman is a character with a lot of potential and has been very little used in most comics, not only her but also many others from the family that should be better used and explored in comics.

Agreed on everything you said here. And apparently in Batman 137 literally everyone in the Batfamily besides Damian sides with Selina's idiotic crime plan. What?! This is the stupidest thing that's happened in Batman comics since Tom King's run, and that's saying something. Also, side note, it seems weird the writing seems to be making Selina out to be the matriarch of the Batfamily when throughout Batman history this has pretty much never been the case. Steph's line about mom and dad fighting and Selina's line about fighting in front of the kids just don't really make sense when Bruce is the one who actually mentored them for years, while Selina just occasionally popped up at best when she wasn't on the outs with Bruce for continually returning to crime.

I like Selina so much, and I like her relationship with Batman so much. But the way they portrayed the character was RIDICULOUS. Tini and Zdarsky literally made Batman refute all of Selina and her team's arguments in the very first issue. And honestly, seeing Selina talking like the fact that they didn't get married because Bruce needed to be Batman sucked. Come on guys, did you forget that it was Selina who left him at the altar? She was the one who chose for him that he couldn't be Batman and be happy. I definitely didn't like the way they just brushed off all the growth both characters had over the course of Tom King's run.

You know Batman's Biggest Problem in the last decade and especially in current stories is his obsession with control, like he says he's over it that he's going to try to be better trusting his family more when he looks like he's starting to evolve BOOOOM!! ! He's back to being that control-obsessed narcissist who thinks everything is his responsibility.

If I was writing the comic id have those two meet her talk with Bruce leading to them bonding and staying out of costume and convinced to leave Gotham for a while as everything is going on then come back as a couple shocking the league. Honestly I didn't even know that was Cass with red hair
