@@Gnidel Exactly. The no-kill rule is due to his parents. Batman notes the love of life that his parents shared, how precious it was, so that's why he abides by it. He honors them with it. Though if they're already dead, he has nothing holding him back. A lot of the undead, dead, or those that deal with the afterlife just better count their lucky stars that Batman isn't a full time mystic, because he'd shred them to pieces.

To find that there was someone behind the murder of innocent children and was never caught is something that he just can't stand. It makes him think of how the man who pulled the trigger was never found or brought to justice when he was young. Maybe this case is one of many trials for Bruce to put his own demons at rest, as well as others.

TBF depending on when in the timeline you yoink AfO from it could either be a justice league level threat, or basically just doing what they ended up doing in the show. Difference is that since DC heroes don't get powers from Quirks, AfO's quirk doesn't work on them, meaning he'd be squaring up against bigger, stronger, even more all american than All Might and Star and Stripe could ever dream of being, and able to fly and shoot lasers, up close and personal since supes defaults to being a brawler against enemies that try to act like they could even dream of hitting back. as a fan of fnaf, this sounds like a good plan, but, there's 2 things about glitchtrap and burntrap: 1): It was confirmed that glitchtrap and burntrap AREN'T william afton, neither in psychal or digital form. 2): Glitchtrap and burntrap is an animatronic called "The Mimic" who has the ability to see and mimetize, from behavior to actions. is not specified when, but the mimic witnesed one of william's killings, that's the reason as to why he represents himself in the fnaf VR as a yellow bonnie. also, the mimic has a hive mind, and fazbear entertainmen has produced some robots or products using the original mimic program, meaning that around (possibly( all of the world a robot is killing kids just because he learned how to do that. I don't know if this is accurate, i was disconnected from the fnaf history for a while, but that's the things i remember about them Also, via a VR headset, mimic can "infect" someone innocent with the same psychopatic behavior has william afton, example: vannessa from security breach, she was a beta tester of the VR Help wanted 1 game (and the main character that we controll in said game) and when she encountered glitchtrap, she got infected and transformed in the killer "Vanny" from security breach as i said earlier, i am not too sure about what i wrote here, but as far i remember, this is the info about it

If you want to put Afton down for good, you'll need to take down Cassidy, first; she/he is one of two spirits within Golden Freddy, and the one responsible for Afton's return as Glitchtrap. They tethered his spirit to his biological remains so they could torture them with neverending nightmares for eternity. As long as they're still at large, Afton will come back.

Kind of ironic. Cassidy thinks of Afton's suffering as justice, but he can continue as long as she never moves on, and she can't see how much her anger is enabling him. Justice is blind, after all.

Afton is already dead, and not only does he refuse stay in the afterlife he wont stop killing. Its almost impossible to lock him away, only real way to stop his crimes is to stop him permanently. Joker on the other hand is alive and with some help can slowly be talked down from his murderous rampage, if that dosen't work then keeping him in arkham can stop him

William actually fits pretty well in the setting in Gotham, just Pizzarias mysteriously opening up all around the city providing endless entertainment to the children of Gotham, but little did they know they've all fallen into "His" trap, and have become experiments for his obsession to harness remnant. Pretty well set up villain for Batman to face, and a much scarier one at that.

​​@@mill2712 in fact it is a huge misconception that every time Afton becomes weaker in the fnaf world, the more agony you have, the stronger you are physically, so if you remove the theory about Mimic, then Burntrap should literally punch through Springtrap and Scraptrap with at least one blow also in the Fazbear Frights books, William created a new body for himself called "Agony". Agony can destroy buildings, and this is considering the fact that all that remains of William is skin and bones.

William Afton would actually be right at home in the DC Gotham universe He, his story, and his appearance are just as surreal as any other Batman villain, yet his threat level isn't so high that he'd seem out of place facing batman, the difference are his crimes are unforgivable Batman would absolutely loathe a child murdering psychopath in a burned animatronic husk, and would make dealing with him top priority

The Joker commits his crimes to break people’s spirits and make them see the world how he does. Afton does it because he genuinely thinks he deserves eternal life and any amount of dead children is an acceptable price to pay for that. If provided with the means and motivation they’d both stoop to the same level so the real question is which goal is more evil.
