Batman Forever (Game Boy) Review

I have returned! Finally got that video finished and I have a free lease to do other shit! I have two scripts half finished and an April Fools Day video started, so hopefully I'll keep some momentum going. As far as the personal issues I've been going through, I'm going to a psychiatrist and am trying to get in with a psychologist. I just finished a two-week trial of a mild anti-depressant and I've been feeling pretty good, but we'll see if that continues or not.

Hey Jadow. I'm glad you're takeing steps to help yourself. I love your videos, I've seen all of them at least once, some dozens of times. (I like to put on some of my favorites while I work at UPS, keeps my mind distracted from the monotony.) But I would trade every laugh I've had with you if it ment you not overworking yourself. Take as many days off as you need. Go on a year long vacation if you have to. I'll miss your content but if you're struggling please please please put that first! I promise you'll always have at least one fan waiting for you. Take care

The instruction manual for this game was just nuts. Every single gadget had this crazy convoluted set of controls making it impossible to use most of them. I couldn’t even make it past the first level.

@@Darklordjadow1 Recently they put a trailer that said it'll come out March 24 so very soon. The trailer also confirmed that the cardpool will be updated to the most recent product released and will also update the banlist to the newest version. The game will also follow the new ruling where Link arrows are no longer needed for Synchro, Xyz, and Fusion. Pendulums are still under the Link ruling because Konami hates Pendulum.

I noticed some of the enemy names for this game sound very familiar for example Knuckeles, you know like the sonic character. Mumbo, like you know the villain in the teen titans animated series. Also ironic because Robin leader of the teen titans is in Batman forever. Bilbo, you know like Bilbo Baggins from Lord Of The Rings. Rampage, you know like from Transformers. Grappler, you know, like from yu gi oh. Carnage, you know like the Spider-man villain. Pepples, you know like from Flintstones. Bumper, you know like that super obscure Transformers character. Boils. like Ferris Boil the guy who turned Victor Fries into Mr.Freeze. Blade, you know, like Marvels vampire hunter, plus that's also the name of a suporting character in Batman Beyond.

The last two level are the first time Riddler's mentioned? But the subway briefing mentions the release of Edward Nygma's Box, so techinically, Riddler was mentioned before the last two levels. Or do you mean in the context of Edward being Riddler?

Nygma is mentioned, but the briefing for level 7 is the first time it's brought up at all that there's a second villain besides Two-Face.

I only have a small handful of games right now; I only acquired it recently. I really like Ninja Turtles the Hyperstone Heist. The Sonic games are a given, and the Star Trek The Next Generation game is surprisingly good!

I haven't played a new Pokemon game since Fire Red, so I don't really have any thoughts on Sword and Shield as a game. I do- however- think that the whole Dexit debacle was way overblown.

That entire debacle was a bunch of people pissed off that some obscure pokemon that no one but them likes didn't made the cut then went around intentionally looking for things to blow out of proportion and complain about for the sake of complaining even making up fake accusations with intentionally mistranslated quotes from old interviews. Not that it really mattered that much, because the whiners were really just a small handful of petty brats that seemed louder than they actually were because of the Internet. The game itself does have some minor issues here and there but it does the most to fix the archaic jankiness of the old generations and make the game flow significantly smoother. Additionally Dexit has close to zero effect on the actual game itself so the controversy was even more pointless. It's a also a huge improvement that instead of re-releasing the same game again with a few more cutscenes they're instead adding DLC expansions for half the price of what a re-release would be.

@@elin111 Not exactly obscure Pokemon; all the starters except Charizard got cut and there's no Jiggy to be found. I have a different reason for dismissing it. I was alive for the Sapphire and Ruby versions, which cut a shitload of Pokemon back when there were only 375 or so; I don't know what the more recent games are like, but it seems stupid to suddenly get pants-shittingly mad about it now. Mainly I just got sick of nerds online pitching yet another massive bitching hissy fit because a franchise didn't do exactly what they wanted.

In every Pokemon game you're restricted to only use whatever is found in-game, getting the other Pokemon was strictly through migrating which requires you owning previous games and already having those Pokemon in those games and even then migrating was treated as a small side bonus rather than an important part of the game with some generations not even mentioning that it's a feature so unless you have every single game beforehand and completed all of them "dexit" has zero effect on anything. People were just bitching because they have nothing better to do and are indeed entitled brats.
