It's so fun to see the artistry shine through the weird external circumstances. Realistically, this team-up should have been ABOUT the ring and some threat to Superman and his identity. It shouldn't have been the B-plot in an ongoing Superman story. But that moment, of Batman willingly giving him the ring and then Superman giving it back to him as a symbol of his trust. And then that coming back later with Batman looking at it and debating getting rid of it once Superman dies? That's all just great writing.

I know comic book dialogue can be corny at times, but did she shout "MY NAME IS SO-AND-SO AND YOU'RE SUPERMAN AND I'M GOING TO SHOW THE WORLD RIGHT NOW!" as far as that scene was explained. Maybe you assumed that she did?
