Pre-New 52 Clark Kent (Superman) and Lois Lane are great in DC Rebirth. The strength and familiarity of the characters is truly refreshing in an uncertain setting.

This was good. Though, kind of feel bad for Poison Ivy at the end. But it was a much needed, and very well done, story. And for Clark, this whole thing has to be surreal. Having to get to re-know his two closest friends from before Flashpoint (stop screwing with time, Barry!). And Super Sons 1 was great! And I'm thinking mystery Clark just might be Super Boy Prime. And may not know it.

I actually liked the relationship between Superman and Wonder Woman. It was interesting. It was something different. They were able to relate. Anyways, this storyline was excellent. It was personal and character-driven despite the life-threatening threat. They all got to know each other's past.

This was bloody brilliantly done!! I’m actually blown away. And people said that DC doesn’t have that great of story lines or arcs. I have to say that I think this is/was one of the best and original conceptual ideas to bring this “new” Superman a giant leap closer to being accepted and trusted as well as laying the foundation for some really great storytelling in the weeks, years to come. After you've become way more excited in you videos these past few months, the old style, chill intro feels out of place in these videos. I know it's not that old, but it reminds me of your very chill videos from months ago. Maybe you should make a new one? Also great vid, almost shed a tear when Bruce opened up to Supes and Diana about why he's so distant. It just made Batman much more grounded for me than ever, since even though Bruce was "just a man", he's done so many impossible things that others would never dream of doing, "Batman and Robin: Robin Rises" being just an example of his tenacity, guile and physical prowess.

I'm five years late, but what made Wonder Woman stand out to me is the very interesting and subtle characterization that she (at least in her very best stories) always had. She's altruistic and just but she's also not afraid to do what needs to be done to protect those around her. While Batman and Superman have their strict codes (most notably their no kill rule), Wonder Woman has always been the one to defend those around her through whatever means necessary (she is a warrior first and foremost after all). I've always found this characterization interesting because she's also always the heart of the team: the one with emotional sensibility and a special kind of compassion. It's an interesting dichotomy.

its funny to me that you hold Louis and Clark on such a pedestal, but from previous videos I get the feeling you don't hold Peter and Mary-Jane to the same relationship standard. You bring up the fact that for 70ish years, Supe's relationship was the status quo, so most of your life. Well for the majority of my life, Peter and Mary-Jane have been that couple. Johnny Tek you mean the DINI-verse..... yea dude Paul Dini is the best writer in all of Comics, he and Bruce Timm were the best creative team in Comics ever. AND they were writing and drawing Superman and Batmans' actual comics while they were making Superman: The Animated Series and Batman: The Animated Series.... Nobody could write Superman or Batman better than Paul Dini. Or draw them better than Bruce Timm...... That is the Superman and Batman that defined the modern DCU as we know it and is like what the Superman and Batman of today are from, or based off of.... like I said Dini and Timm defined the modern DCU from the mid 90s to early 2000s and up. Scott Snyder is awesome on Batman and then Geoff Johns or Pete Tomasi are awesome on Superman but NOBDODY could write/do either one of them like Paul Dini. He's the best...... Justice League was awesome too yea I was thinkin about that episode when I saw that too. 'For the man who has everything' , glad somebody else was thinkin about that too ha.
