I still have this toy and it brings so many good memories. This Batmobile is the single thing that made me like vintage limos. Awesome design, kickass gadgets, awesome design, awesome design. I hope some day the Batman animated license gets handed to real artists again.

I loved this toy! I had a mother crap load of batman action figures but I never had this one. I wish I did because out of all the batman toys I had, only one had a cloth cape, and I remember losing it. All the other figures had hard plastic capes which were no fun. Regardless I had a lot of fun with this toy when I was a kid!

I used to have that as a kid. it was a batmobile as well as the back was detachable to form the batwing XD. plus the inner part of the rims was like spike weapons that you can move out a bit to make them weapons.

Kenner was bought out by Hasbro sometime in the early 90s: they were in fact the ones who made the Beast Wars TFs.

Another one I still have from childhood, in the bin downstairs. And yep, windsheild is broken. One of the clips is just gone. I made my Batmobile open the way it did on the show, and I liked it, clips be damned! =) And the 'bomb' Eh, who knows where that went.

Batman has been me favorite superhero sense I could talk! I had this batmobile when I was a kid. (but mine was a re-release,it had a red windshield and the two gray fins in the front were also red) But anyway. Love this toy! wish I could have another one! And you are totaly right! As far as im concerned this IS the ONLY Batman cartoon!!! thanx for the review. Hope to see more Batman. cya

I have one exactly like this except I think it was a repaint with a brighter blue color and black bats all over it. like the animated figures it had many variations or this car had at least 2 lol

It sucks that you can't fit him in...why the heck would they give a toy car a seating compartment that can only fill a lego Batman? Do you have the Batbike btw?It's the one where his legs are attached to it and you can only move his torso.

i had this batmobile as a kid this was so fun the 2 figures i had fit perfect i had an animated series bruce wayne with snap on army and the crim attack from the returns line which fit too lol. even though i had this 1 i was jealus of my friends toy batmobiles cause his split in half when u presed a button i think it was the returns line lol

I had the exact same Batmobile, but the one I had was with a different paint job (it was blue with a bunch of bats). Kind of a weird redesign, but you know what, it was an animated series Batmobile. I was fine with it :)

when i was a kid, i used to "torture" my biker mice figures by putting them in a pan of water and boiling it on the gas hob.. it didnt harm the figures at all. but what i noticed was that when i took them out, red hot, they were incredibley bendy, like rubber. i could re-poistion the tails and cool them with cold water and they would set that way. if you wanted, you could try and re-set the position of batman arms like this. :P

My late dad got this for me when I was in kindergarten I was so excited tho my dream batmob at the time was the original one from the 60s series as thats what introduced me to batman & being a kid i thought the live series was WAY cooler than the cartoon :P as an adult I now see how amazing the cartoon is but its really for adults so it was too 'dark' for me as a kid to like it much..dark meaning literally i hated that it was always night time and lacked color! I was still a cool lil girl tho :)

Loved the review, I just have an issue with it: you keep saying that your batman doesn't fit. I think it's because the car is from the BTAS line and the batman is from the TNBA. As a kid I was a BTAS nut (I still am really =) and I've had quite a lot of BTAS toys, I never got the batmobile, but I've had a lot of other stuff and the batman you've got there is not from the BTAS line, I'm almost sure it's from the TNBA (judging from the utility belt)... Great video though...

The Batman logo you have on your car wasn't applied to Batmobiles straight outta the box. It was on the sticker sheet. Nice surprise for the people who don't want them. Also, am I the only one who has weird oil-like spots in the plastic? It's molded that way from the looks of it. Just got mine, so I'm asking. Love it either way.

@BboySparxx89 Please do research before you post Kenner merged with Hasbro in 1991 and all of Hasbro's boys toys were done by Kenner from that point on (which is why Beast Wars Transformers is a Kenner brand not Hasbro) up until the time Kenner was bought out by Hasbro completely in 1999 The Pursuit Jet is a gimmick designed for the toy to enhance the play value. There was no pursuit jet ever in the animated series as already said.

@JTMitchell87 I appreciate cartoons now as an adult which were made for kids but include the adult jokes and subtext in them, for instance super hero squad is a really good one, and a non-super hero cartoon thats just really great on the adult jokes which are clean and very witty is 'the Mr Men Show'. Believe it or not but the old Seasame street in particular is pretty sharp also. And my fav TMNT is filled with adult jokes, though I dont like the constant breaking of the 4th wall cinematic rule
