Good looking cowl. I love the Returns-esque emblem. For me it was a dream come true that Michael Keaton came back as Batman. I think they fumbled the bag a little bit by tying his return to less popular characters like The Flash and (the defunct) Batgirl, but I was just happy to see my Batman on screen again. My favorite thing from The Flash movie was probably the new Batwing.

It took a few viewings but I've really grown to love The Flash. I think Andrés Muschietti did an unbelievable job considering all the production obstacles he inherited. It's unusual to have a comic book movie that's as thoughtful and theme-centric as it is (I'm not saying it's Hamlet but it does have something to say). I thought all the Batman moments were gold. It's everything I wanted to see. My favorite moment is Keaton dropping from the Batwing with the Elfman score firing on all cylinders. "You're strapped to your parachutes!" "And where's yours??" Ezra Miller's behavior was an unfortunate distraction, as were some of the unbaked VFX, but as a whole I think it's quite fun, charming, and even heart-warming. I think time will be kind to it.

I am holding out hope that somehow the batgirl film gets leaked someday.
