Very, very happy Keaton said it and set the designers on the right path, as uncomfortable it may be, the stiff movement is huge part of the original Batman appearance and appeal (and surely an important tool for Keaton to properly play the character again). Michael Keaton was the sole reason I was excited for and watched the Flash, and he was easily the best part of the whole picture. The man still has it, looks the part and the prospect of an older yet familiar Batman is super interesting and something that needs to be explored more. PLEASE Hollywood execs, give Keaton one more solo Batman film! Keep CGI to minimum, let Danny Elfman score it and have Burton direct it now that they're all working together again on Beetlejuice 2, and you've got a winner. I've waited 30 years for that film and will be at premiere and buy 30 tickets in an instant to go see it on the big screen.

Yeah for live action capes aren't necessary and don't add a whole lot. The reason comics used capes so much is because you can use them to convey motion. In live action you don't need to do that.

Nope, the Batman Returns suit is better. This one they messed up on the nose piece. You're not supposed to make the nose piece so big you can see the actor's nose underneath, it's supposed to completely enclose the face. Even the 89 Batman suit did a better job.

Nope I didn't. I can't stand Terry McGinnis or anyone else playing Batman as a life long fan of the character. Batman is Bruce Wayne - period. This is what some of the casual fans don't get, Bruce Wayne is the mask, not Batman. Bruce Wayne died in that alley along with his parents. Bruce has been Batman every day since then, with or without the Bat suit. Terry McGinnis or anyone else is just wearing a costume and calling themselves Batman, which is why Bruce is the only one who should be wearing that mantle.

The thing about the older suits and movies was that they made him look more menacing. The wider cowl and shoulders, also being shot and lit by professionals made him look more like a german expressionist monster vigilante. They couldn’t even lit him properly in the flash, it was too dark and no focus or atmosphere in the shots. Now it was just michael keaton doing a cameo as batman for a commercial or snl digital short. Movies with big budgets used to feel like they had that

My ideal Batsuit would be medium pointy ears with gray and black color scheme the suit is cloth with tri-weaved Kevlar plates underneath which resembles a muscle suit underneath and it’s a standard physique. The symbol is Nolan’s and the belt is Nolan’s as well with the black trunks. The eyes are white due to being high tech and the cowl made of harden Kevlar lead. The gauntlets from Batman Begins. Cape medium.

@@brandonspain12345 all they had to do was use the 92 cowl. The rest of the new suit is fine, I get they wanted to change it up a bit to cash in on figures etc. But don’t downgrade the cowl from perfection and make him look derpy. The eye sockets are too big too, as you say.

Michael Keaton killed it as Batman in the Flash movie. Its just too bad that Ezra Miller ruined the movie. Right below Ezra was the bad CGI. Another breakout performance was the chick that played Supergirl. At first looking at her with short black hair. I thought it was dumb but I honestly loved all the scenes she was in. Again its just ashame that they left Ezra Miller as the flash.

Michael Kenton’s cowl in The Flash movie was no where near as good as the ones in Batman ‘89 or Batman Returns! His cowl in the Flash movie made his neck look huge and he looked like he was stuck in that cowl. I wish and hope we get another movie with Keaton in the Bat suit and we get a better cowl then the garbage cowl we got in The Flash movie.
