I love how the detective sequences were handled in this game. The objective wasn’t just to scan clues, but to connect them and understand the order in which certain events occurred. It really makes you feel like the world’s greatest detective!

I feel like the Arkham games could really use telltales detective feature on the fact that the player could connect each clue to another clue which you have obviously mentioned . Just small details like this just makes the players feel more involved in the overall story or event and I believe the Arkham games hadn’t really offered a true detective experience were the players themselves have to figure out a crime on their own so that they can truly feel like the worlds greatest detective without batman spoon feeding you each time when you scan evidence/fragments of a crime from little to no effort . Anyways the telltale games probably offers the most amazing story experiences ever in my humble opinion and I hope they find great success in their future projects because I honestly don’t want telltale to close its doors AGAIN.

I will say in general I don’t really like the interpretation of Thomas Wayne being a corrupt billionaire as I much prefer the interpretation where he was the one good apple in a bad bunch of corrupt people in Gotham, and that kind hearted altruism was passed on to his son. But with that in mind, I think the story handles the concept of corrupt Thomas Wayne pretty well

It very much seems like Telltale's current 'secret project' will be season three of this game and I am very very excited. What villain can be so dangerous that Batman has to come back? I think likely the league of assassins with a lazarus'd Vicki Vale (her body was never found). The minute they said Joker was John Doe in this I thought we were getting the criminally underrated Jane Doe who really hasn't gotten a media adaptation. Also think this is the perfect type of game to feature Hush and the Ventriloquist.

This is my favorite Batman I don’t care what anyone says, Batman feels like human too this time around more than a hero he can also get hurt and have feelings, and I like how he never rest when he is Batman and Bruce and those two also feels so different from each other at the same time, so underrated games I really hope season 3 comes around because the story still feels unfinished, it has so much potential, now it’s getting good and now the Batman is starting for real because now Joker found his real self so they need to build it up from there. I just finished both of them and it’s worth it.

Although, I will recommend TellTale's The Walking Dead games as the crown jewel of their storytelling. A definite must for fans of games like the two Batman installments. (Also, that OSP reference at 26:39 was surprisingly wholesome, and definitely reaffirms that the best storytelling for Batman is comforting a scared child. Ace from JLU, Baby Doll from the Animated Series, and the Vales' adopted son in this game. That is a certified Batman!)

I played through both this in the second season couple months ago because I was bored and didn’t know what to play I remember loving the telltale games when I was younger and I never got around to playing this one. I don’t know how or why I haven’t played the Batman telltale series sooner but now that I have experienced all of telltale’s interpretation of Batman, I got to say it is one of my favorite versions of the character, a completes a version of so many elements of a character that we all know and love

Replaying this and the enemy within are such guilty pleasures. Its such a shame telltale fell apart as a company because they made awesome games. What I love most about TTTS is these very unique portrayals of classic Batman characters. From Penguin and Two-Face in this game to Harley and Bane in the next. Dont even get me started on John/Joker. Selina, Riddler, Alfred, Gordon, Vicki. With not just how they were written but also how the actors played them, I just adore what was done with these characters and I will always adore TellTale for doing something different and unique with a lot of them

Gonna be honest. Bruce Wayne is like male Bloom from Winx Club. He is very empathetic just like she is. Strong and brave like she is. Is ready to sacrfice his own life to save his friends just like Bloom. Plus he is coming from rich family and tries to use his power to make people's life better. Bloom is a Princess with powerful power and she is using her power to save the world. I just love how similar they are and both of them are perfect role models for men and girls. I wish people like Bloom and Bruce could exists in real life.

I love the idea of this game, I just wish it wasn't Telltale. No shade towards them obviously, i think they did a great job and make other great games: if this were more like the Arkham games gameplay wise, i think people would have LOVED it. Telltale Harvey is one of my favourite depictions of Harvey Dent ever. Though I wish there was less of a choice when it came to him getting burned since that's meant to be the main reason his mental health and DID got worse/less controllable. It feels like you actions mean less when you save Harvey and he still "becomes" Two Face. Edit! I FORGOT ABOUT THE SELINA THING! In my playthrough, I DIDNT kiss Selina because I felt bad for Harvey and the consequence was the same. I understand Harvey lashing out because of Two Face but I feel like there should have been more of a consequence to Bruce's actions when he is vs isn't on Harvey's side. I played on Harvey's side the entire time, I saved him, funded him, didn't kiss Selina, I admit I was a full Harvey Dent simp so Harvey's story and reactions didn't fit the decisions I was making.

It's not really a visual novel. More akin to point and click since Telltale started with Sam and Max. It is more narrative than most point and click games but that's just how Telltale is. I really love these games and all of Telltale as a whole!
