Just beat it today. The key is patience, and going slow. A lot of players like to go fast with the combat, and they either run out of free flow or they get hit becayse they arent paying attention to enemies with guns.

Fun fact about the "buy you a beer" thing. It might actually be a reference to the original Half-Life. At many points throughout the game, you can interact with security guards, and they have a chance of saying "Hey, catch me later and I'll buy you a beer." This is even mentioned in Half-Life 2 where Barney Calhoun (the guard who canonically said this to Gordon, despite their paths never crossing during HL1 as seen with Blue Shift) where Calhoun reveals himself to Gordon after working undercover as a Combine officer and preventing you from leaving to Nova Prospect. 23:30 Upon replaying Arkham City very recently, there is actually an explanation provided as to why Calendar Man is in a cell in the Courthouse - It's provided by one of the "Arkham City Stories" you unlock by solving Riddles. When Arkham City first got up and running, it was actually Calendar Man who took control of the Courthouse first, he'd lure people inside, kidnap them, lock them in the cells, then murder them when the next Holiday rolled around. Two-Face would eventually bring a big group of his men to the Courthouse and take it over for himself, capturing Calendar Man and locking him in the cell, where he still is during the events of Arkham City - It's never explained for how long Calendar Man was in the cell/how long ago Two-Face took the court, though.

I didn't ever think there was a plot hole, or a plan by Talia. She arrives to Joker asking for "any last requests" knife at Batman's throat, she was motivated by saving Batman get the Joker away from him. If she offered the cure in exchange then Joker would have no need to keep her alive, but taking him to the Lazarus pit means he needs her. It is risky to sneak up on he hoping he doesn't just kill Batman straight away, and charging would be just as risky. She took the safest path to keeping Batman alive. Talia clearly knows Joker is evil, just not how sly he is. She wouldn't underestimate is capacity to kill Batman in the moment, only underestimating his intelligence. That is why she is antagonistic towards Batman to get him to sell the act, before revealing the tracker just as they leave. Plus she was just saved at knife point by Batman early that night, she knows he is better equipped to save a hostage. At the theater Joker/Clayface is in a weaker position, he doesn't know what Talia is capable of and Batman isn't pinned down. Talia found an opening while Clayface was desperate for the cure for the Joker. Obviously still frustrated that Batman wouldn't just kill the Joker, though not planning on it. PS I always thought Joker tied up Harley for coming back empty handed. That is why she was so upset, she failed him and he needed to make sure she didn't tell anyone that she fail to bring he the cure. The whole "fake cured Joker Clayface" was a desperate final attempt to get out on top and alive. I mean, how else would the Joker know that he could sell the "I'm cured bit" to Batman if he didn't know Harley lost the cure to some random woman.

I think that the most hardest Bosses to beat was the TN-1 Bane fight from Arkham Origins mainly cause of the Horror like Music that plays throughout the Level,It almost felt like that you were in a Horror Movie.
