@@chrisrodriguez2855 It's mostly in the several universes running in the comics and applies to the batfamily as a whole. The most recent one (that I can remember being an actual death) was Bruce himself, Grayson was Batman while Bruce was "dead" and raising Damian for a while before Bruce eventually came back; then there's a storyline where Dick's identity was revealed so he faked his death for a while until it was safe to come back(it's one of my favorite Damian moments because everyone was mad at Dick for faking his death for so long but Damian ran to give him a hug 'Cause he was just relieved to have Dick back). There's also a separate vampire universe where Dick became a vampire and killed them all off one by one.

He is a father figure to them but if we're speaking legally, he warded Dick Grayson, he adopted Jason Todd, Tim actually had parents before his dad died then Bruce later adopted him and Damien is his biological son.

@@KonEl17 Jason Todd is still legally dead so he doesn't count, but I do rember a issue in Gotham Knights where Dick signed a paper that made Bruce adopt him as a son.

Glad y’all enjoyed this one. It’s my favorite from the whole DC animated movie lineup. I would recommend Batman/Superman Apocalypse, Batman Bad Blood, Batman Year One, The Dark Knight Returns 1 and 2, Justice League Doom, Flashpoint Paradox and Justice League Dark Apokolips War. There are plenty of other good ones as well, these are just my favorites. Lots of Batman on there for y’all too. You got a subscriber in Texas my friend. Enjoy your videos.

There's 5 Robins in the main continuity of the comics: - Dick Grayson, who becomes Nightwing - Jason Todd, who becomes Red Hood - Tim Drake, who becomes Red Robin - Stephanie Brown, who later becomes Batgirl/Spoiler - Damian Wayne, who is Bruce's biological son and the current Robin. There's also a bunch of other characters who bear the mantle in different timelines but these are sort of the "main ones".

This is my absolute favorite DC animated movie. Ironically enough I own the graphic novel, so there were a lot to things that were changed. This movie was still amazing though 😊

Gotham is based on New York but it’s weird cause New York also exists 😂but it’s on Earth so I jsut think they used New York as the basis for the city design. DC animation goes hard

Gotham is in New Jersey. But based on a gothic style New York, and sure it’s already gothic, but I mean gothic by much darker and more of a terrifying place 😂, also metropolis is in Delaware somewhere

Fun fact is that when Jason Todd was the Robin in the comics, at first he wasn’t popular. They got so desperate they ran a 900 number to decide his fate. The majority people who called the number decided to kill Jason. Of course, since it is a comic book death, they brought him back.

Map wise, Gotham is located near New Jersey, but the city is heavily inspired by New York and Chicago with its architecture. The culture of the people in the city is basically New York with the way they speak and act, and the way that crime is played out is very similar to how criminals in Chicago operate.

Back during the 80's after the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic event, the Jason Todd Robin was the current one, and he was more of a rebel not afraid to get his hands messy. He wasn't like the Dick Grayson Robin. In Batman 426-429, this was the comic event called Death in the Family and yes the Joker was the one who put Robin down, but it was really the fans of Batman who decided Jason Todd's fate. In 428 at the end of the comic, there was two different numbers the fans could call deciding the fate of Jason. The numbers were close, but Jason didn't make it, until they brought him back in the Under the Red Hood graphic novel.

In main continuity there have been five major Robins.Dick Grayson the first who became Nightwing, Jason Todd who you see here, Tim Drake called Red Robin, Damian Wayne Bruce's son through some fuckery with an assassin.and a young woman Stephanie Brown who later became Spoiler .

There are 4 main robins. Dick Grayson the first Robin who is now nightwing. Grayson parents died in the circus by a mob boss and Bruce Wayne was there in the audience at the time. Bruce adopts dick trained him into robin. Eventually dick moved on to be nightwing. Jason Todd the 2nd robin who u pretty much know his origin and what already happened to him based on this movie. Tim drake the 3rd robin who volunteered to become robin after realizing that Batman has been more brutal than usual ever since the red hood fiasco and realized the reason why is because Batman doesn’t have a robin. Batman needs a robin because Robin represents batmans humanity he is the light to batman darkness. Tim eventually became the Red Robin. Finally there is Damian Wayne batman and Talia actual son. Talia and batman one day spent a night together and Talia never told Bruce about his son until years later. Bruce turned Damian into robin because he needed to learn the difference between right and wrong cause Damian grew up with his mom who taught him to kill and grew up thinking he was gonna rule with her one day.

Tim became Robin only six month after Jason's death, by the time Jason came back as Red Hood and attacked his replacement in Titans Tower, Tim had already become skilled and experienced enough to put up a good fight against his predecessor

Originally Metropolis was New York during the day and Gotham was New York at night and in almost every continuity. The second Robin always is tortured and killed by the Joker there’s four robins altogether well unless you count some stories and other stuff.

Gotham is Jersey (The Bowery) and Metropolis is in Delaware according to a DC Universe book I read years ago.

I feel bad for Jason but to be honest he was too reckless for his own good. He never learned to control his emotions that led to his downfall. Also in the comics after Jason's death Batman did want to kill Joker but Superman stopped him. Also Joker had diplomatic immunity A Death in the Family was crazy. Also I highly recommend Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. It's the greatest Batman movie of all time. Kevin Conroy voices Batman in that film he's the greatest Batman of all time. He voiced the character for 30 years until his tragic passing in 2022. Mark Hamill aka Luke Skywalker who voiced The Joker alongside Kevin retired due to Kevin's passing.

Gotham and Metropolis are both based off of New York city. Gotham is supposed to be everything bad about New York, Metropolis is supposed to be everything good about New York. Also, Gotham is in New Jersey and Metropolis is in Delaware, there's a straight shot between the two across the water. If you ever get to watching Young Justice, which is one of the best superhero shows, for some reason they messed up that fact and put Gotham up in Connecticut. As for the other members of the Justice League: there are several versions of The Flash, But they are all from either Central City or Keystone City, which are also next to each other but across The Mississippi River from one another. "Aquaman" Arthur Curry's human father is a lighthouse operator in Maine. So that's where he grew up. Before taking over Atlantis. Cyborg is the only Justice Leaguer from a real world City, Detroit. Then on the West Coast there is: Star City where Green Arrow is from. Coast City where Green Lantern is from. And the Teen Titans are also in California but which city depends on Cartoons vs Comics. After Wonder Woman left Themyscira "Paradise Island" she operates out of Washington DC because technically she is being a ambassador for her country.

This movie has so many aspects that legitimately cannot separate from any Batman Adaptations when it comes to these characters. 1. Red hood challeging Batman on his No Killing Rule legitimately made me not like Batman as much as other heroes like Captain America or Wolverine,Black panther or Cyclops. 2. Ra's Al Ghul's respect for Batman and his own code when it comes to killing only for a greater goal or Purpose when its necessary. And in his Eyes Batman is a man to be respected,and wronging him by killing his Son indirectly by hiring the Joker was a mistake that needed to be corrected.

Did you know the reason Jason Todd died it because DC fans hated him as Robin and view him as a terrible replace for Dick Grayson, so the people who worked on the comic books give the readers a choice if Jason live or he dies. Readers vote for him to die.

Both Nightwing and Red Hood were Robin. Red Hood went dark and did what Batman couldn't, take lives. But Night wing just left Batman and still never took lives parsay.
