The movie came out at the wrong time. At that time people were used to the marvel bubble gum movies (before marvel fatigue)that were funny and forced audience to dislike it as a result. Warner brothers seeing this thought of changing the direction of the movies and messed up the entire universe.

David Hernandez​ Just saying but The Ultimate Edition is the real movie according to the director he wanted to keep all those scenes but Warner Bros made him cut out 30 minutes just so Warner Bros can show more screenings when it ends and we ended up having the Theatrical version which makes no sense and the editing is choppy.

Deric James I understand but did Snyder really expect to release a nearly 4 hour movie in theatres? Not gonna happen. Of course you gotta chop it down. I've heard about this 6 hour version of Star Wars episode 1, the Phantom menace which apparently is really good. But there's no way in hell some is sitting down for 6 house to watch a single movie, especially knowing that the theatrical version was awful

As good as this teaser might be, they clearly rushed this movie. The DCEU started with Man of Steel and in the next film itself, you can't pin two of the most loved superheroes against each other. The lack of buildup made me disinterested in this film.

You're one mistake in one word that set you set yourself up for failure, DCEU. This was never supposed to be a shared universe, like MCU, but a standalone franchise that followed a planned out story in just 5 films, no stand alone films, no spin-offs, even the word dceu doesnt exist, but is a word coined by the fans. Remember how in 2004 we were gonne get a justice league film, there was no plans to make standalone films for any of the members and yet it was so close to being a thing.
