Honestly these toys are so weak compared to what marvel and hasbro are coming up with. That knee issue on Batman would be considered defective in marvel's eyes. Hell, the whole batman toy is a fail. The ab crunch and head movement are just dissapointing, and those hips are simply outdated. The detailing on the batman head too is just weird. The texturing looks bad, and the eyes are too big and bright. The rest of the detailing was actually good. Superman was also decent with detailing, but his body mold could have easily gotten some ab crunch but it probably would have sucked like batman's did. It's as if they spent more time making the display look cool than making the figures decent.

The paint and sculpt on DC figures are way better than hasbros bucky-cap repaints but the articulation is better on marvel ledgeds.

I actually really liked the cape on the Man of Steel figure. Its strong enough for you get him into the fist in the air/take off pose without having to use a flight stand. Maybe when the movie comes out we're get better figures.

I am not digging the texture on the Batfleck head sculpt. The yellow on the gloves is because the new Batfleck suit has brass knuckles built in.

looking at the stills at the end, I now really see how much of a difference ML style articulation makes in posing your figures dynamically. these Mattel figures have limited poseability and all the poses in the stills look similar. Glad to be an ML collector!

Those figures look outstanding, the new head sculpt for Superman doesn't capture the look of Henry's face though. I do like the cloth capes, those are nice and look decent on the figures so thumbs up to that! Can't wait for the movie 👍👍

if Mattel would stop selling toys as collectibles and sell collectibles as toys like, practically every other company, maybe they'd be worth buying. The only Mattel figure I've ever bought was Batzarro from the DC Signature, and that's solely because there's no other Batzarro figure in existence.

The figure heights are accurate. Affleck is taller than Cavill and Synder said it was intentional. He wanted Superman to look up to Batman especially since the latter is a seasoned veteran while the former is an absolute newbie in the superhero department.

The knee issue with Batman wasn't fixed with the standard figures in stores unfortunately. For me, I didn't like how bright Batman's costume was so I repainted mine. As for Superman, I decided to repaint him too. The blue seemed too pale for my taste. I felt it did need to be brighter than Batman's suit, but needed to be a richer blue than paler.

Same problem with my Batman in this set. Too bad, I was really looking forward to having it for the Batman figure. Dude cannot even stand properly. Back in the box I guess. Hopefully this issue will be worked through for the individual figure releases next year.

Figures aren't bad! Batman looks pretty damn cool! His ears are a bit short, and the bat-symbol is a bit large. But it does look a lot like The Dark Knight Returns, which is cool! I love the texture of the figure, and the cape especially stands out to me! He just over-all looks more Batman-y to me than Christian Bale's suit did. Nice!

The only thing that kills it for me and the DC comics/DC movie figs is the lack of ankle rockers. Weird how that sort of joint has been neglected in bigger name figure companies whenever they do these types of "collector" figures.

Man, i know that you prefer the cloth cape on superman, but really let me tell ya...the rubber cape is FAR MORE beautiful than that little piece of cloth. Meaning, i REALLY prefer the one with the rubber cape! For sure! (Face sculpt as well)

+thunderstudent Eh, it's just something we gotta learn to get over. I was glad Superman doesn't have any underwear anymore, he looks more modern, but it sure does look a bit empty there. In Injustice, the Superman that turns evil had a red design that looked somewhat like his underwear but it wasn't underwear, and it looked cooler. In the newer comics, Batman doesn't wear underwear anymore, because DC decided to modernize. You'll get used to it pal.
