Mattel always seems to be stuck between the market for children and collectors. The price and packaging are aimed towards collectors yet they never go nuts on the details and its like they're scared of kids choking on accessories. They could learn a few things from marvel legends.

I like this guy better than my Dark Knight/Bale version. I agree about the "sheen" issue and also believe the base gray is too light. My only other gripe is that if you attempt to display this figure in any type of dynamic pose involving the legs, there is a large cut-away section on the upper inside thigh. I get that this is necessary for articulation, but it is VERY pronounced and bothers me a bit. All in all I think I made the right choice by buying at WalMart, although the price point was a BIT high for what we were getting. Thanks for the review!

+Chris Durden Yeah it does. If you want, you can actually repaint it which is what I did. I used a black white board marker, painted on the gray parts and wiped off the excess. I also gave him a cloth cape

The grey is just so bad. I had to give it a coat in black and dry brush grey on it to make it much more movie accurate. The sculpt is there if you can bring out the details with paint.

Spot...I give this review a big thumbs up, but the figure a big thumbs down, these figures for some reason are not catching my eye, I feel like the man of steal movie masters superman was superior and that the dark knight movie masters were awesome, but these are kind of biting me in the butt, maybe they'll grow on me, but seriously, what's happening with movie figures, I mean even look at the age of ultron and guardians of the galaxy stuff, yeah okay they're kind of cool, but come on, even ghost rider had better movie figures, I miss those old movie figures where you were like, this is a quality action figure.
