I agree that the writing could have been better, but I think the best thing for BvS would have been to have had a Batman film to flesh out Affleck's version of the character beforehand. Having a film where Joker kills Robin and showing what that does to Batman on a psychological level would have made him a more relatable character in BvS. People went into BvS expecting something like Bale's version of the character. They got this mean brutal Batman out of nowhere and had no foundation for it.

@Hallow Nah. There are many other ways where a simple minded person can solve that same problem or reach better results. The movie just made him super stupid to have a reason to make the fight to happen. If Superman stay still or keep talking to him while flying, Batman plan would never work, mostly because his kryptonite spray would not have such reach.

4:25 that scene is just pure savage. Generally whenever Superman is injected with krypton matter, it severely degenerates his strength, making him so weak that he cannot even stand on his two feet, but here we are seeing Superman in action even after getting infected by krypton radiation. I love this part of the movie - it highlights how it is very easy to be brave, courageous, stand up against evil when you are virtually indestructible. Suddenly when you are knocked down a peg and have to fight somebody who is on par or even better than you without your super powers? Something Superman never faced and only had plot armor to save his rear end.
