@Inkhaurt It's boring as hell, and the story is shallow ... It's all style but ultimately a bloated, poorly paced movie. The acting is fine, the visuals are fine, the costume and set design are great ... but it's an empty experience as a whole. The villain sucked, the ending felt tacked on, and the obnoxious identity politics and marxist virtue signaling was also hard to ignore. I was in for the first half hour or so, but once it got to the flying squirrel scene I felt like I was watching an SNL parody or something. The movie is trying so hard to be different but just ends up trying to mix David Fincher's Seven with Batman Begins .. both are superior movies by a long shot. The movie is just a rip off really ... and it's dull as dirt. Completely forgettable ... I had to watch it in two sittings I was so freakin bored. I liked Reeves' Planet of the Apes movie better. And Batman Begins buries this movie.

But it was too bulky and half the explanation for the design makes no sense because Fox didn't mention the Bat Pod being apart of it. It's designed for use in a combat zone, not the streets of Gotham. Bigger isn't always better What made this one awesome is that it was a more realistic design, a suped up muscle car (Plus he made it himself). I won't deny the introduction was pure fan service. But it brought a smile to my face

That’s not a clutch slip or a stall. He’s revving up, jumping forward a bit, essentially saying “run” and provoking them to flee to save Selina and Gordon. I’ve been driving a stick shift car for years and slipping the clutch or stalling isn’t like that.

What a silly scene, he is there for about 1 minute making noises with the car giving "Penguin" time to stand there for a few moments, run to his car, start it and run away, all while "Batman" stays there making little noises and doesn't act until the "penguin" escapes because... because the movie needed an action sequence, when all the chase and subsequent chaos where innocent civilians probably died could have been avoided if "Batman" just started the car. he used to ram the "penguin" while he was standing there, and it wouldn't kill him, it would only leave him with broken bones, or he could already directly ram his car so he doesn't escape. And in the end all that persecution was for nothing because after catching the red-handed penguin, after being also responsible for a chaos on the highway where civilians died, after having important information in his head about the mafias and corrupt people in the city, they have no better idea. to set him free there on the street. Having him captured would have been a great help in taking down much of the city's mob. And if they tell me that the police were also corrupt then Gordon and "Batman" would have locked him up somewhere to question him and extract information from him. Seriously, what a disgusting movie, all the characters are fools incapable of doing anything intelligent

Makes sense for the story they were trying to tell. If you look at the behind the scenes, it's obvious they were trying to make it look like he built his own engine and strapped to a muscle car. It's not trying to look flashy, it's designed to be effective which pretty much goes for all his gear in the movie like the glider suit.

The movie is so boring that they had to put this "Fast & Furious" chase so that the movie had some "action" and the ending was useless because they let the Penguin go free. And a chase that could have been easily avoided. Watch how for almost a minute he spends making that ridiculous noise with the Batmobile giving the Penguin time to stand still for a while, run to his car, start it and escape and that's when "Batman" decides to act.
