While he is also a master of ninjutsu and hand to hand combat, so is batman, and unlike shredder, batman is a master of EVERY known martial art, not just those specific to one clan. Shredder may be able to beat the turtles easily, but that is because they are barely masters of one martial art each. In terms of knowledge, combat ability, combat experience, and skill, the rankings would be 1) Batman 2) Shredder 3) Master Splinter/Nightwing 4) Robin 5) TMNT

I liked this because it keeps Shredder as the monster he is, in physical combat, the guy is ridiculously OP in the comics, yeah even more than Bats, but they still manage to get a way for bats to win other than the regular "he wins because he is bats" where he can pretty much punch godzilla to death just because. He was hit in the head by one of the turtles while preparing that backfiring technique, he lost all defense right there.

Batman just hammered Shredder in the center of his face, breaking his nose by sending it back into his skull. His teeth took a flat on Metallic gloved knuckle, from the BATMAN who is in peak physical condition, and could be flying back into his throat realistically, and most notably, the impact would have forced Shredders brain to first shift forward as his head moved back (an object at rest tends to stay at rest) then be snapped back by the spinal cord, slamming into the back of his skull, causing bleeding and dizziness.

I hope that if this gets a sequel, we see more villains. Besides potential Jokerized Shredder of course. My personal wishlist is Deathstroke, Riddler, Clay Face, The Rat King, Bebop and Rocksteady, and Karai. Maybe not all of them in one movie, but at least four of them.
