The Mr. Freeze Premium Format™ Figure measures 24” tall on top of a frostbitten laboratory base. As Batman’s below-zero foe, Victor Fries has his cryogenic gun prepared to give the Dark Knight a cold reception. Jagged blue ice crystals protrude upwards from the snowy scene, which features the tatters of a black cape and a batarang below Freeze’s boots.
The polyresin Mr. Freeze Premium Format™ Figure features a fully sculpted cryonic battle suit with intricate armor paneling and blue tubing as a part of the complex machinery keeping him alive. He has detailed gauntlets and boots, with rivets and stitching details throughout the costume for added realism. Victor Fries is known for keeping a cool head, and his strikingly pale portrait with red goggles is encased in a glass dome, completing his iconic silhouette.

Thanks for the great review! The Prime 1 is an outstanding statue, in comparison I like the colors on the Sideshow version way better, specially in your display. After the unboxing yesterday, I thought you would set up Mr Freeze behind Catwoman to hide the base, but in front of her is for sure the better look. Great review! I agree on the pose being on the over used side but I think with him standing on that shred of Batman’s cape looking very happy with himself works in telling a story without taking up too much shelf space. I’m really happy that there’s another option for those that wanted the Bat Rogues in a more affordable and reasonable on the shelf space side. Sideshow should be extremely happy at how well received these characters have been loved by collectors, an also tell them they need to keep these villains coming!

Got mine yesterday. I have to admit I was worried based on the pictures that it was going to be a little underwhelming. I'm glad to say that when it was assembled in front of me I was blown away. Its just simply fantastic. Your display is amazing. If I could do one like that it would be slightly different with the old catwoman pf and eventually the hell on wheels harley and new joker on pogo and of course the upcoming bane. but I need to copy your box idea. You won't sue right? Lol

I love mine. Just a quick note: your Batarang is in backwards. Frost should go toward the ice. Very nice review. Also, on mine, the Batman cape is a bit frosted. Maybe YMMV when it come to that feature.

Damn, another rogues knocked out of the park! This is how I envision Mr Freeze. I agree, he looks way better than the Arkham Freeze, not that he's bad by any stretch. It would be cool to see this in 1:3 scale too. What if Sideshow started offering an option between 1:4 and 1:3 scale for all their statues? That'd be crazy 😄

I kinda agree on the P1 SS comparison, Had P1 used the arkham city freeze costume and not origins it would have been much better imo. Looking forward to getting this freeze in, still not sold on the armour or the tubes but every review has been glowing so far.

Great review, Chris!!! Am I crazy thinking the Prime 1 version still blows this away? It seems like a lot of people are preferring this one now. He does have a BTAS vibe, which is cool, but there’s just so much more to look at on the Prime 1 Freeze. I do understand, though. I actually prefer the Sideshow Scarecrow & Daniel Bel Bane over the Prime 1 counterparts.

This looks dead cool, a much better piece than the humongous Prime1 Freeze. An easy job to add snow flecks, 'dry' fan brush and flick, simple! People worry too much about scale, if one really likes a piece buy It, different scales display well together and add interest!

Chris.. I do recommend you to pIay a bit more with that display. From 2 angles of this video I saw Catwoman like having her hand on his dome or inside of it haha. (or like she tries to do something with his dome haha.. I recommend find him other pIace in that display or somehow move it a bit so we can easily see the fuII hand of CW)

When you put the two Freeze’s together I could see why you choose the sideshow version, I also think is a more clean figure and the paint job looks perfect so you are not alone in that regard. Congratulations, it’s a wonderful piece. I noticed you got rid of several pieces from the old batman line, it’s a shame sideshow decided to cancel it, probably the opted for a full sculpted line instead of continuing with the mixed media from the old one which looks kind of old fashion right now, too bad for me though.

The statue looks fantastic. I think I prefer the arkham Freeze as he is more realistic, detailed and darker but he is just far too big and cumbersome. This is a much better size. Oh and the Arkham Freeze is just too expensive!
