Naruto went through many more trials and tribulations in the first 10 episodes than BORUTO had in twice that. Naruto Uzumaki didn't have it easy and suffered from depression most of his life, through childhood. Boruto doesn't have it so rough, in fact, he's a cocky bastard that lacks any of the hero's journeying his father went through. Naruto lived for his character to exist, enduring Zabuza, befriending one at a time, and learning along the way. Boruto? He has friends right off the bat, he doesn't have to fight in hard ass missions. He also seems more or less to con his way into a victory. Naruto had few ninja tools more OP than a fucking gauntlet possessing scrolls of EVERY jutsu the wielder will NEVER LEARN IN HIS LIFE! Naruto is basically the example of a hero that, when he became a ninja, his call to adventure kicked in. Boruto doesn't have all that many adamant traits to be proud of. He has few trials more than stepping up his dad. It's not a bad thing, Boruto has character at least, but he's had it very easy.

It's not 50/50. Boruto, first and foremost is recycled from literal repeats. He didn't have to fight some Badass Zabuza guy, he didn't have exploit opportunities to grow and develop as a character, projecting his pain onto his foe, and making friends out of his enemies. He is privileged as hell. Boruto, again, never had an actual trial, he doesn't have anything to fight for, the stakes are so low, there's nothing to risk by his existing. He has a father that mostly neglects him, barely managing a shadow clone long enough to spend time with his son. Even then, there's missed chances, the character is largely uninteresting because he genuinely lacks a purpose that matters. If Boruto were to die, every relevant character would be just fine, there's no lurking threat that nobody else could prevent.

Mainly - Currently all stories are fillers and some were good and still holding onto the core plot line like the Jougan, as much as it sort of fills the gaps for better understanding of the characters, it breaks some consistency, example, all the Naruto characters all nerfed beyond measure until the plot calls for them to be strong.. And it's not like match up issue, it's just str8 up became weak then powerful at the moment calls for it. - Power scaling is full on Inconsistent.. Kishimoto(Author) basically just more or less review the stories that other storyboarders set up for filler arcs. So each story while holding certain plot lines in, each person has its own idea of the Boruto cast power scaling.. Example would be Boruto VS Kakashi, he displayed arrogance but had the aptitude to back it up, with his combat creativity and flexibility in his jutsu usage. From there, he basically realised he shouldn't try to do things alone and look forward facing obstacles.. Its a very well done plot for character growth for himself and his relations to others. Here is the problem is it leads to Inconsistentency, chunin arc, he still arrogant but doesn't have the aptitude and creativity he had b4. So all the growth all basically as good as didn't happen.. Naruto series made sure to make it all happen within their character and skill border so despite being filler, it's almost seamless.. - Action storyboarding, in short, bland and not dynamic. Predictable fights still acceptable, the dynamics are as good as still pictures for most of them, random rock music doesn't go well, doesn't engage the viewers into the fight or blend with the fight, it's almost more like a montage which overall kills it.. - Some annoying story aspects that doesn't seem like the characters itself. Like Chocho just goes all bitchy about the handsome guy, i like the growth at the end but the way she tries to be sassy and bitchy from start to mid , felt so off for her.. She may be one for chase for her own desires, but she cares for others and won't be such a cunt, at the most is a small throwaway remark like "You guys are too impatient"

I think they did that on purpose. The words you can hear that accent on are also words that when pronounced normally wouldn't fit the beat. Singers tweak pronunciations all the time so it's not that odd.

Have you ever tried spending an entire day speaking with another accent? Let alone suppress it while singing? Cut people some slack. And like I said, it sounds like they did it on purpose so they wouldn't fuck up the entire song by rushing a pronunciation. Let alone the pronunciation during a part that is pretty much the entirety of the Boruto opening.

I mean, suppressing an accent is pretty easy to do when singing. A lot of singers do it. I cut enough slack. I mean, the problem I have is that some of the rhymes only work with that accent. And, it's not hard to pronounce things another way, just saying.
