My school used to play Lee High in high school. I'm asian and moved to Louisana from Hawaii in middle school. I immediately picked up on that Lee High as they tried to call themselves was really Robert E Lee High, its predominately black and naming it that is just straight up terrorism. Most of my white friends couldn't make the connection. I never understood what gaslighting was because that was just life in the south to me.
