Aserai beating sturgia was unexpected

The Aserai were even given a slight disadvantage at the start. Their archers were all bunched up on the bridge, so not all of them could fire in tight quarters. Sturgian archers are just poo by comparison.

why? Sturgia sucks pretty much. Aserai is strong all around. Although I haven't kept up with all the latest updates

The sturgian archers in the front line, line formation, absorbing damage while shooting arrows against a shield wall, I dont know if that is a fair result.

Funny how battania has the worst overall roaster but the most op unit at the same time, fians are the best ranged foot troop and the best shook troop

Actually Khans guard is the best shock troop. But the Fians are still really good.

It’s kinda weird that every faction kinda has their gimmick but the aserai just seem to be really good all around.

I love these videos! It seems that the most important part of these challenges is how many "dud" units each faction has. Asrai, Empire, and Sturgia all have 1, the two T5 horse archers, and the sturgian bowman. Vlandia have crossbowman and Pikeman, Battania has their 2 horseman, and Khuzait is going to lose the infantry fight too hard to do anything. I have no idea who will win between asrai and empire. They are super similar factions. Well rounded besides their horse archers. Horse archers are either OP or terrible, and Khans guard are the only former. If they get time at the start to skirmish I think the asrai will win because of their archers, if its more of a charge in immediately type battle I think that the empire will win because of their better, I think, infantry.

Sturgia goofed against Aserai with those poor tactics. Very smart of Aserai to hold their bridge position.

Idk why everyone is surprised that the aseri beat sturgia. Aseri objectively have the best units all around. Their infantry is good, archers are good, cavalry is good, horse archers are ok. It’s a pretty well rounded faction. Sturgia only had good infantry and cavalry.

I should clarify that their units aren’t the BEST of the best but they’re all good imo. Like Fians are definitely the best archers but aseri archers are still good. Legionaries are the best infantry but aseri infantry is still good too
