Battery change on electronic safe lock, ALWAYS open the safe before changing and then test lock with door ajar.
Always use top quality cells like Energizer or Optimum Duracell, choose high load over long life
The plastic hatch on these keypads slides rather than popping off or hinging.
Small tab at left side allows you to push the door across, sometimes gets tight when almost open. Sometimes have to reach up and jiggle the battery to get it to drop.
Always be careful not to trap or squash the wires when inserting new battery.
