Saludos y excelente video! 😉👍
@DaftOldMan
@DaftOldMan 9 ай бұрын
@fugussss
@fugussss 5 ай бұрын

I’ve found one in the “trash”. It’s B&D KC9024 similar to this. Someone has converted it to wire only mode. I tried it and works well, so after your video I was inspired to make this work again without a cable. I have now the battery and the charging circuit so all I have to do is make it done. Great video. Thanks.

It worked perfectly for me, it is connected as you told me. When it is connected right, does the module turn on a light when the battery is low or does the module automatically cut it off?
@DaftOldMan
@DaftOldMan Жыл бұрын
When you connect through the module the module will cut power at 2.5v. The modules work fine for bulbs and LED's but motors can cause the module to cut power every time high current is pulled. I just charge mine when ever the motor feels slower. 2 years of use now and the battery is still ok.

You don't need to do all this chip soldering, Just need to use a DC to DC Buck converter and set the out put to 4.2 volt and it will stop charging due to it reaching an equilibrium
@DaftOldMan

I have a torch here that has a dc to dc buck convertor but it still uses a battery charge/ discharge protection board (BMS) so I guess the manufacturer does not think a buck converter on its own is good enough.

No. DC motors are not rated at one specific voltage. My dremel that I converted to a 12v motor runs on 30v DC with no problem at all. At higher voltage the motor may spin faster and wear out sooner.
