Every, and I mean every device being constantly on power will kill the battery, no matter the brand or the operating system. It's in the nature of the batteries, and it doesn't matter what type they are - they'll degrade much faster than if they have charge/discharge cycles.

My Samsung tab A7 has a control board with 2 batteries connected to it. If I purchased your kit, do I wire the red/black to one of the pairs of one of the batteries on the board? The board has a total of 4 connectors, a pair of positive/negative for each of battery

You showed examples of the application to Teclast and PIPO. Is it applicable to tablets from other companies? Or can it be applicapable for other tablets from the same company? It seems possible if just removing the battery connection port and then solder the wires directly on the circuits, but I don't know that chip supports every battery types.

Yes, it's very good. However, people can just buy Samsung Tab Active4 Pro, Samsung Tab Active5 or Samsung Tab Active3. All of them support none-battery power on mode.

when plugged into usb, the tablet will work just as if it had a battery. You'll need to turn "smart charge" OFF if you do this.

If the power comes from the decent machince usb plug in, how does firmware updates work? Frist step on firmware update is to flip the switch on the power supply and this would cut power to the tablet.

Can someone tell me why my tablet pause screen is impossible to shut off? I've made the settings but when my machine is off the tablet always display pictures and I'd like it to just be on standby / off but without turning it completely off so that I can just hit the screen and power on the machine without pushing the tablet bottom down

My machine is a month old and the tablet maintains a charge of 100% when plugged into the Decent USB. In the video you mention that it should cycle at a lower charge rate. Is there a setting I should check?

Yes. Please upgrade to the latest de1app, which will automatically turn 'smart charging' on.

@@decentespressotech I am running 1.41.1, which is the latest version of the app. When I exit the Decent app, the charge level of the tablet is at 100%. I went into App-->misc and manually turned on the switch for smart charging. I'm using the DSx skin, so perhaps smart charging isn't activated by default?
