I would agree that a dedicated sprayer is next level stuff. Interesting that you say this because you have one as well.

Oh man, that turned out great! Nice handiwork. I need to upgrade my Chapin to a dual-nozzle setup. if it kicks the bucket, I'm going to chuck it.

Here I was strutting around my yard with my new chapin 4 gallon sprayer and then I see this. First your yard is better than mine. Then your mustache puts my beard to shame. And now this. So help me if you drive something better than a Ford Fusion I’m gonna lose it.

Ha ha. Glad you like it because my wife hates the stache. I on the other hand love it. TN Hawkeye.... You've got me beat with the fusion. I have a 08 odyssey and an 05 Cummins. The stash? I've got you both beat.

Great build! You could spread those nozzles out to cover more on each pass. Teejet says you only need 30-40% overlap for even coverage. I run 4 nozzles at 16” high spaced at 27” which is 40% overlap with a 110 tip.
@rey34726 жыл бұрын
I would cover the All Thread rod with some plastic tubing split. Metal bouncing against a plastic tank can cut through. So this is the monster? Nice. I can tell you that at 40 PSI +/-5 PSI at your walking speed can be made to put down a gallon per 1000 sq ft. Ask Matt about the 3 nozzle hand held boom I use for my lawn applications. It is easier than things on wheels for a lot of my lawns.
@lawnrebel6 жыл бұрын
This tubing idea over the all thread.... Genius. Thank you for suggesting that. I will definitely be doing that. I will ask Matt.

Hey Connor, I have taken your Boom Sprayer as a template and rebuilt. So I am in Germany probably one of the very few LCN with this kind of monster. With what pressure you spray? And did you also have problems with the filter? Without filter I have enough pressure, with filter no more . Best from Germany

Connor - two questions. 1. Do you end up using the 1/4 turn ball valves or nozzle check valves to turn off flow to a particular nozzle? 2. How long are the side angle aluminum pieces? I’m trying to copy your design and wondering how far out front the boom ends up. Thanks in advance!

Great video!! I like some of the mods you made that are different than mine. Can't wait to hear what your thoughts are on it once you start using it. BTW, that 10-10-10 you have won't melt down as it has a ton of "filler" material that you would need to sift or filter out first.
@lawnrebel6 жыл бұрын
Andrew Burris. Guess I'll either have to pulverize it or strain it. Thanks for the inspiration on this baby.

Hey great build. I’m looking to build a tow behind boom sprayer for my Kubota Z781i zero turn. I have a gorilla cart I will put the tank and mount the spray bar up front where I can see it. I can’t find your email. How do I get a parts list? Looks like you did exactly what I need. I will use a larger tank since tow behind. My yard is almost 2 acres and I am tired of backpacking 4 gallons at a time.
@GrassDaddy6 жыл бұрын
You are too funny. Btw have you tried pushing the sprayer while riding the bike??

The pink flamingo ladies? I am vain and I put those out there one day so peoples eyes are drawn to the lawn. I like them so they stayed. My wife would disagree with me. She wants them taken down. Why would I do that?

I just looked up that Permagreen recharge. Cool little product. Small tank but cool.
@PaulsPrimeCuts6 жыл бұрын
Connor Ward yeah it is small I guess so u can spray and spread at the same time but with that ultra low volume perm green sprayer on it I think it still will cover a decent area per tank

Joshua Blackmon. That was the plan until mightyquinn shattered my hopes telling him me that it wouldn't work. Dang it
@joshuablackmon51206 жыл бұрын
Connor Ward why wouldn't it work? Seems pretty straight forward to me. Even if not, the sprayer could still be used to spread fungicides or pesticides or maybe even foliar humic acid.
@lawnrebel6 жыл бұрын
Joshua Blackmon. He just said that the 10-10-10 has a bunch of filler. I'll probably try it and strain it. Yeah it's going to be spraying a bunch of stuff this year. Humic for sure pesticides for sure
