Is there any issue with the car's computer losing its memory and settings when the battery is disconnected?

That’s normal for modern car’s computer to lose memory settings in when the battery is disconnected. In my Lexus, I even have to reset one touch open window function every time battery is disconnected.

@@initiate22000 Nothing to do on Toyota Corolla and Camry. Some expensive German cars sometimes needs device to reset things but not most Toyotas.

Would some of the Vaseline hamper solid contact between the terminal and cable? Interesting thought though.
