Great review, thank you that was helpful! I have the entire EXM lineup and love it as a mobile DJ being able to deliver amazing experiences without a generator. I have x2 EXM Mobile Subs and love them but have been dreaming of something larger with more power for over a year. I even emailed Yorkville about it last year, they couldn't tell me anything except to check back in the winter. I knew what they were up to 😉 and when I saw the announcement I was soooo happy! Can't wait to try it out soon!

When you pair sub to Bluetooth source, do you get a stereo left and right high pass XLR out for mains? Or is that only for passthrough of XLR input?

I didn’t catch any comment on a comparison between this and a ps15s which is not battery powered but essentially the same cost. Any thoughts on that?

Hey, thanks for the review! I've been obsessing about building the perfect mobile setup that I can check into baggage for music festivals that aren't local, as well as park days. The Mobile sub is the only sub that works for that application, but I am having a hard time justifying the cost for the power output. Ignoring the flight aspect, would one ProSub or two Mobile Subs have higher output and better bass response? Thanks again. You're the first review I've seen on this.

Omg one PROSUB would definitely outperform 2 mobile subs in my honest opinion. It’s definitely a beast! You need to have a listen though and then you’ll be a believer. I appreciate you for watching and commenting🙏

@DJ Nines World I'd love to try them out, but I've emailed every listed Yorkville distributor within 2 hours of me and all of them would have to order them for me. It's cheaper to just buy them and have them shipped to my house for free shipping. No way to audition.

I have yet to try this one out but as someone who owns x2 EXM Mobile Subs I can tell you I'm confident one of these will out perform two of the Mobile Subs. Where the EXM Mobile Subs shine is indoor and small applications. I even used them in my car stereo, dj studio, home theatre, house parties, etc but outside they just don't have the power.

Cheers bros. I am a one man band setup. Most of my gigs I just use my Bose S1's. One gig in particular wants me to crank it up and my Bose are getting pushed to their limits. I am grabbing one of these tomorrow to add some bass so I can turn bass down on the bose to have more volume... the place isn't big, they just want me loud LOL

@@DjNinesworld Just running some tests now. I was impatient, hooked things up without checking the manual. I had bluetooth to the bose so ran the line out to the sub and played some tunes with the phone. I thought it sounded good. The I paired the sub with my phone and used xlr's from the high pass outs to 2 Bose. I am still grinning

@@DjNinesworld ended up buying the exm mobile tops too. The batteries on these things are insane. 4 hr gig, still shows 4 bars of power and 30-40 mins to charge back to full. And I think the Yorkville tops have more volume than the Bose

You can connect them wirelessly and pair them together or you can also connect them the traditional way with an xlr cable going from one speaker to the other.
