Hi, VCDS is a software that requires a certain cable also that would connect to the ODB port.

I have problem, i have c6 audi, and changed the battery, from 95ah agm exide to 105 varta agm silver dynamic, but it doesnt have bem code and whit my vcds(16.8.2) i cant long adaptation it

If you do not change it the car will think the battery is 95ah so I think nothing bad will happen. If you do want to take advantage of the extra ah then you will need to find the proper code for 105ah

Unfortunately it vary from car to car and model to model. What make and model is your car.

In have buy a tiguan 2011 . Noe have a 64 ah battery. I will place new one varta 74 ah. I have not start stopt. Do i also need to code it ?

I think you can skip the coding. Coding was mostly if you have start stop. "if you have Stop Start and the monitor module on your live terminal, you need the car coded to know there's a new battery and it's a different capacity and type. If you don't have any of this, the battery can just be replaced like any other car. Knowing this you can decide which version of Tig you have and whether you do need it coded."

@@bonevchannel I dont have start stop on the car. Thanks for info. I will also buy a vcds. My low beam lights are allsways working on switch 0 when ignition is on. I want to deactive that also.

Здравей Купих Varta Sylver Dinamic която НЯМА стикер със BEM кода. Акумулатора НЕ е със АГМ технология, и не знам как да кодифицирам. Има само сериен номер 11 цифри и това е. В този случай, какво трябва да направя?

Ако оригиналният е бил същият ампераж и стартов ток използвай същият код който е в колата но смени последната цифра от серийният номер. Така колата ще разбере че батерията е сменена. Хубаво е ако колата изисква АГМ да и вземеш такъв.

No it should not be 0. 0% would mean depleted.

I had battery issues and my A6 C6 was jump started with another battery. I since replaced it, problem is my MMI is not working. It comes on for a few seconds but then shuts down. Rebooting does not work. Is it a coding issue?

Was the replacement battery the same as the old one? If not the battery needs to be coded, but I do not think it will cause MMI not to work. Still if it needs to be coded, do it and you will find out about the MMI issue 😉

What is your car model and year? Just a first thought- It might not have this module for adaptation at all.
