Mk7 GOLF/GTI BATTERY UPGRADE AND CODING

UPDATE: Coding is required only on cars with "Auto-Start/Stop." Also, "Fleece" is the correct setting for an AGM battery.
My GTI's battery suddenly died after only two years and eight months. However, my extra electronics can be abusive to an otherwise "adequate" battery. I decided to replace the VW battery with a larger Group 48/H6 dual-purpose AGM battery. This video shows my process as well as how I coded the car to recognize the new battery.
